The truth is MSG is bad stuff but is it really that bad? Did you know that MSG is almost guaranteed to be somewhere in your pantry or kitchen cabinets? How do I know this? Simply because it is in thousands of the foods we consume...but the kicker is MSG or monosodium glutamate is not ALWAYS listed in the ingredients. At least, the name is not listed. You see there are tons of names for MSG that you may not know about. Why do companies use other names? I believe that the food industry knows that MSG is not good for you so they disguise the name.So why is MSG so bad for us to consume? My dad had headaches for years that went undiagnosed until he started tracking what he ate and discovered that MSG was the culprit. He figured this out over years and does not suffer anymore since he has eliminated MSG from his diet. Since MSG is found in so many foods, it is important to combat its effects in some way.
