Mark and I have been married for over 3 years. Our family has recently expanded by the birth of a little daughter, Lydia Beth. She has been such a blessing to our home!

 We live on the family farm here in New England. I am a homemaker and enjoy taking care of our house and my family. Both of us come from families of 6 children and are blessed to have a lot of family living in the area. My parents and 5 siblings live only about a half an hour from here. Mark's parents live down the road, as does his grandmother and brother's family.

  I have always loved writing and dreamed of publishing a magazine. I didn't want to just be one of the many, though. After we got married I began to feel the lack of such encouragement for older girls and especially the young married women. In our society homemaking is looked down upon and we are considered as missing out on something in life. It is my desire to encourage each one of you in your desire to serve at home.
