I have been working as a screenwriter for over six years now and mostly specialise in Horror. I am from Armagh in Northern Ireland. I toyed with a few ideas before I suffered an industrial injury involving a spindle moulder which forced me out of my trained profession as a Joiner.
From then on I started to take my writing more seriously and really learned to enjoy what I do. Junkyard Dogs will be my first feature length script to be produced, it is a project which I am really excited about as it is in the same style as the older more grainy Horrors from the seventies.
On writing the script for this project it gave me the chance to cut loose No pun intended and write something that I feel is missing from most modern Horror movies, the reality.
My Horror work is heavily influenced by the Seventies American Horrors along with a lot of Asian and Italian Horror. Working along side Glenn Webber has been a great experience He really knows what direction the project has to take.
