Sorry for the long wait again.  School is out though for us and we should be able to get more work done now.

Silnim Dale Update: Today we go up to about 20 % of the interior cell of one of these structures done so far.

Sorry for the long pause in production of this mod, it has been a while since we have not been able to work on the mod much, but starting tomorrow we are going to start up production again and try to give you updates daily.  Thanks for your patience!!!

Silnim Dale Update:  We added enemies in the ruins now.  We plan to start work on the caves this weekend.

March 10, 2003

Silnim Dale Update:  We fixed some bugs today in the ruins, and also we decided to just put enemies in the ruins for now because we are not sure what we actually want to put in the ruins yet.  For example, like possible quest items or new types of items, possibly some new dwemer items.


March 9, 2003

Silnim Dale Update:  Today we added a second interior cell of each dwemer ruin so far so that they seem bigger.  Items, enemies, containers, etc. will be added in the ruins during this week.

March 7, 2003

Silnim Dale Update:  Today we completed the design layout of both the interiors and exteriors of the dwemer ruins we added to the mod.  There are 4 ruins in this mod so far.  There also is a possibility that we will add additional floor levels inside the ruins to make the ruins seem more deep. Also there is no enemies, items, containers, etc. in the ruins yet.  We hope to get done with the ruins tomorrow.  When you download the mod update, it might take a little while before you find all the dwemer ruins, since we do not have something setup yet to tell you where they are.

Silnim Dale Update:  Little bit more progress done on the ruins.  Expect a mod update on Friday, March 6, 2003.

No progress today.


March 3, 2003

Silnim Dale Update:  We forgot to include ruins in this phase as well.  That is what we started building today, we are planning on doing the ruins first, then the caves, then the "Special Buildings."  The next mod update to download should be released sometime this week, after the ruins have been done.


March 2, 2003

Silnim Dale Update:  Today we thought over some new ideas and possible quests for the caves and "special buildings" according to how we are going to design them.  Tomorrow we should be able to officially start building Phase 3.


March 1, 2003

Silnim Dale Update:  We are finally done with Phase 2, we completed all 31 buildings in the city.  There will be minor changes and additions to the interiors so there is more randomness.  But we will take care of that in a later Phase.  Right now we are ready to move onto Phase 3 which is building the caves and the "Special Buildings".  We dont want to give away yet what the "Special Buildings" are.

Site Update:  Updated the "Progress of Mod" Section and Silnim Dale Alpha v. 0.3 is now available.


February 28, 2003

Silnim Dale Update:  Like every Friday, we always have a big update to the mod!  Today we got done with 15 out of the 31 interiors in the buildings.  Those interiors take a long time.  Also some more corrections and bugs were fixed.  We are trying to make our goal for the interiors in Silnim Dale City to be done this weekend.  So we can finally move onto the next phase. 

Site Update:  We redisgned the Screenshots page totally which was a major improvement.  We reconstructed the page with a screenshot gallery thumbnail system.  So you can choose what larger images you want to view instead of loading all the images at once.  Also we put a week status of what week we are on with the mod project located in the "Silnim Dale Features" section under FAQ.  Also updated the "Progress of Mod" section and since more has been done we also updated the Mod Download!  Silnim Dale Alpha v. 0.2 now available!


February 27, 2003

Site Update:  You are now able to download the mod, with the progress we done on it so far.  Although there is not much done with the mod now since it is a Alpha release so there is alot more stuff to be done on it and dont expect it to be perfect either yet.  You can find the download in the "Progress of Mod" section.  We will try to update this download of the mod everytime we make new changes to the mod.

Silnim Dale Update:  Today there was very little progress done I got two more interior cells then, but it is better than nothing.


February 25, 2003

Again today we have no progress on the mod.  Since there has not been any progress the last few days, there will be a little delay for our scheduled completion of the mod.  But we should be able to start getting more work done on the mod for the rest of this week and hope to finish the interior cells by the end of this week so we can move onto the next phase.  The progress of this mod will depend on how much free time we will have the next couple of days to work on this.  Thanks for your patience.

Silnim Dale Update:  There are about 30 interiors currently in Silnim Dale, we currently have about 6 of the interiors done so far.


February 22, 2003

Silnim Dale Update:  As we working on the interiors it was taking us longer than we had expected to get done with all of the interiors in Silnim Dale city, we expect this phase will take a few days longer than scheduled.


February 21, 2003

Silnim Dale Update:  Today we finished connecting the exterior cells to the interior cells.  We also went through each room to check for bugs and glitches and corrected alot of them.  Interior designing is coming along pretty good.  We hope to throw in some more furniture, lights, chests, misc. items, etc. in the interior cells tomorrow.  We are trying to get done with Phase 2 by the end of this weekend and startup Phase 3.  So alot more work will be put in this weekend to wrap Phase 2 up.

Silnim Dale Update:  The two screenshots have been updated to what has been done so far.  Also added another Construction Set Utility screenshot from a different side angle of the city.  Added two in-game screenshots of the exterior cells in the city.  Added two in-game screenshots of one of the interior cells in the city.


February 20, 2003

Silnim Dale Update:  We finished with all of the interior room layouts of the city and now we begun connecting the exterior buildings to the interiors of those buildings.  We are to start interior designing of the buildings tomorrow.  We are also hoping to update our current screenshots and hopefully add some new ones both Construction Set Utility and In-game screenshots tomorrow!  Look for a big update on the project tomorrow!!!

Silnim Dale Update:  Interiors to the houses in the residential part of Silnim Dale City has begun.

Silnim Dale Update:  We are going to try and use the GenMod program to randomly create interiors that fit the size of the buildings and go from there to interior decorating ans such.

Silnim Dale Update:  We are starting to get ideas down for the interiors of the city.

Silnim Dale Update:  Today we finished making the exteriors in Silnim Dale City.  Corrections and possible addons to these exteriors will take place at a later time.  Phase 1 of the project is officially finished.  We start on Phase 2 tomorrow.

Site Update:  We updated the screenshots of our current progress.

Special News:  Today Bethesda Softworks announced an expansion for Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind called Bloodmoon!!!  A link to the official website has been added.  Go there to find out more about Bloodmoon!

Silnim Dale Update:  Today we completed construction on one side of the river in Silnim Dale City.  Tomorrow we hope to have the other side done as well so we can move on to the next phase of the mod.

Site Update:  We updated the two screenshots showing what we have done so far in the city.

Silnim Dale Update:  Today we work more on the landscaping around the city and have quite a bit more too do, but mainly we are focusing on finishing the Silnim Dale Exteriors.

Silnim Dale Update:  The city is coming along pretty good so far.  We are currently adding the homes in the residential section of the city and will be moving toward the commercial part of the city very soon.  We are planning on putting up some screen shots from the construction set utility tomorrow!!!

Silnim Dale Update:  Today we finished up the foundation and we are now starting to setup buildings and homes in Silnim Dale City.

Silnim Dale Update:  Today we worked a little more on the foundation, like figuring out the size of the city and everything.  Also trying to get some ideas and looking at examples on what architecture we should use.  We are hoping to figure this out tommorrow, and we hope to put screenshots up soon to show the progression of the city to the public!!!

Silnim Dale Update:  Today we completed putting in the mountains and rivers in the mod.  We hope to start construction on the city of Silnim Dale soon!!!

Silnim Dale Update:  The land where Silnim Dale is to be has been created, as well as the land around it.  The coordinates for our region are (16, -40); (16, -45); (25, -40); (25, -45).

Site Update:  We added "Silnim Dale Features" page to the site located on the Navigation Menu and also added a link to "Tamriel Rebuilt" the huge addon project for morrowind that we joined.  We added the "Screenshots" page located on the Navigation Menu to view some in-game screenshots and some screenshots for the editor.  FAQ on "Silnim Dale Features" page.

The site is up and running and is ready for maor construction for the next couple of days.  This site was set up for the purpose of the mod we are currntly making for The Tamriel Rebuilt Project.  We will try to post updates on the project almost every single day.
