GOOD LUCK TO ALL AT THE NSW PAINT SHOW

AND

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OUR MEMBERS TRAVELLING TO DUBBO FOR THE APPALOOSA NATIONALS.

Our April, 2009 newsletter is now on our website.

OUR NEXT SHOW WILL BE 3RD MAY, 2009. Our Judge will be Mrs Debbie Watson. This show will be back to back with NEQHA on 2/5.  Their website is

http://www.neqha.net

There is no need to complete a Record of Attendance at Horse Shows any more, however, we ask that if you are attending one of our shows for the first time, you complete the form for our club records, thank you.

Our May 2009 show will be "A" class QH, "A" class Appaloosa, Paint Horse Approved and have PAC registration for American registered Paint Horses.  All results are automatically forwarded to AQHA, AAA, PHAA and NSW Paint Horse Association - no need to fill out any more tedious paperwork!

There will be two JACKPOT classes, Western Pleasure & Hunter under Saddle.  Entry fee is $10 per class.

OUR PROGRAM HAS CHANGED - at our AGM members asked that we add AMATEUR HALTER CLASSES and we have done so from the October show.  OUR STARTING TIME FOR THE SHOWS will now be 8.30 AM to accommodate the extra classes and we have altered the order of events.

We have added a BRAG BOOK too - if you have something we can brag about for our members - please let me know.

We have added a GUESTBOOK to our site - so if you would like to make a comment, please do.

MARK SHAFFER CLINIC

Well after a near disastrous start with the floods inundating Tamworth, our Clinic was a HUGE success.  Everyone made it to Tamworth even if it was by round about ways.  Check out our newsletter for more on the clinic.  PHOTOS OF THE CLINIC ARE NOW IN THE PHOTO ALBUM.

About our Club

Tamworth District Western Performance & Appaloosa Club Inc was formed in 1991 to provide shows for predominately Western style horses.

Over the years we have increased our profile of horses and we now include classes for many registries of Miniature Horses as well as our beloved Appaloosas, the Australian Quarterhorse and Paint Horses.  There are halter classes for all breeds of horses as well as ridden classes such as Western Pleasure, Western Trail and Hunter Under Saddle.  The halter classes are not just for those breeds mentioned but also Pintos, Palominos and Buckskins so long as your horse is registered with a breed society.  Take a quick look at our program to see if there is a class for your horse.

The ridden classes are open to all breeds of horses, with classes for newcomers, youth, amateurs and of course open classes.

Welcome to our site
