Super Collector of Rickey Henderson as recognized the "The Bench"
Hello and thank you for visiting my site! I have been a baseball fan for over 18 years. My favorite player of all time is Rickey Henderson! I have 1462 different cards of his, including a 1/1, an auto/patch 3/10, 11 1980 Topps Rookie cards, 1 1979 Minor League Rokie card, and 107 game used cards. Other highlights of my collection include a bobblehead, SLU's, posters, magazines, newspaper articles, cello packs with Henderson cards on top, autographed pictures, pins and pretty much every other thing that has Rickey Henderson on it!
This site is not a "tribute to Rickey Henderson." You will not find pages and pages of pictures, career statistics, list of awards and accomplishments etc. There are several very good sites like that out there and in fact have links to a couple of them. You can go to mlb.com, espn.com, Yahoo Sports and plenty of other sites to get all the stats and pics of Henderson you want. This site is about and focused on my Henderson collection and my pursuit of all things Rickey Henderson!
I prefer to trade for Rickey Henderson cards that I need. I have links to some awesome card trading sites on the net below. I used to be pretty active on eBay (id kalabhan), but I collect TRADING cards after all! I have a "self-proclaimed" top 10 largest Rickey Henderson collection known. I have traded with several other Henderson collectors with bigger hoards than I have, (rickey939, rickeyrules, and rh35 on eBay and robe024, and RyanL24 on The Bench to name a few.) However I am confidant in my claim to have one of the top 10 Henderson collections out there! Besides, half the fun of collecting for me is finding out what new and different Henderson cards are out there that I do not have and "the thrill of the hunt" trying to track them down and obtain them!
