the xmas lights are lookin better than ever before! the switching on event was more interesting as there was more there. i thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to see it carry on in the future!

Its nice too see the Christmas lights in Talgarth again thanks to the dedication of the volunteers!

It is such a shame however that the lights start or end (depending on your direction of travel) so far into the town.

Both my wife and I (at the New Inn) feel that it would be nice if the lights actually started where Talgarth starts and ends in the same fashioned, as where we are located on the Bronllys Road we are simply left as the fringe of the town left bare and naked not only from the lights but also other attractions i.e. the Talgarth Festival!

I know that money is tight, and the Town Council only receives a small amount of money from Brecon/Powys, I do also know and understand that the committee for the lights also has very limited funds (i.e. donations) however it is important to make Talgarth stand out for the right reasons. Talgarth is a beautiful Town, and with that said it could be so much more.

Maybe the Town Council could look into this? And make Talgarth Talgarth! Not just the select center of town!!
