We moved here in 1989 and have now lived here longer than any other place we have owned. We got our farm name "Talboys" from the novel Busman's Honeymoon by Dorothy L. Sayers. If you're tempted to read it, it is the fourth in a series, so you might want to read Strong Poison, Have His Carcass, and Gaudy Night first.

Some people build their dream house, we built our dream barn. We took ideas from many of the barns we have seen and added a few of our own. We built this barn in 1993 and did quite a bit of the work ourselves.
