TakeOver's History

TakeOver is a new team developed in late 2006 to play in a 3-man  tournament. Originally it was just a throw together team to test their skills. The team ended up taking third that tournament and decided to keep the team going. Since them the team has been practicing and picking up new people. The team has developed into a 5-man Rookie team. 3 of the players will be playing in nppl young guns in Boston 2007. Hopefully in late 2007 the team will have 9 players and play in Division 3 Nppl. See you guys on the field.

This pretty much sums it all up

Waking up the next morning hungry and tired as hell with no food in the house, no problem right you'll go to the store, but you have no money because you blew it all the day before at the tournament. Then you think why do I play the most expensive and time consuming sport there is were it cost you 50 a week for practice and over a 100 every three weeks or so for a tournament. Dirty clothes litter your room cause you have no time to do it. Now you really start to think is this type of life really worth it, a PAINTBALL life, and when you lay back in bed to ponder the subject and you see trophies and memories on your wall and headboard that show acomplishment for either prizes or times with close friends and teammates. Then the thought of people dissing your sport because they say there is is no point to shooting eachother with harmless guns imitating ugly things like war. Thats when simply have the only possible and correct answer.......... this is worth it because its my life and this is what I want to be seen as. Meaning that the money you blew the day before wasnt blowin it was invested in life
