Tajara Park Arabians was founded in 2004 with the purchase of my first Pure Crabbet filly, Kalody Park Silver Sharne, followed closely by the colt Kalody Park Beraq. Both of these horses have now been sold on but their progeny is being retained. My main aim is to preserve the Pure Crabbet Arabian bloodlines and to maintain the standard of excellence in the foals I produce. The stud is solely owned and operated by myself so it is only a small operation and I only intend to breed a few select foals each year so all of them can receive daily individual attention, right from birth.
I also breed a small number of Arabian Ponies being predominately of the Arabian/Welsh cross. I strive to get correct conformation and extreme type in my ponies and so far all have been destined for the show ring.
Tajara Park Stud re-located early in 2008 onto 30 acres of pasture right on the banks of the River Derwent, in the Central Highlands of Tasmania.
