Dizzy lived alone in a old shack type place, she isnt sure if she had parents. She was just always there and alone. Oddly enough this house was plain yet very large, stocked with food, clothes, and things...art supplys, nitting kits, sewing thred, material, etc. She had books as well so she taught herself all that she knows. There was no radio, tv, or computer so she basicly didnt know about anything besides what was right around her. She bathed in a pound out in the woods near her home, and there is where she made contact with someone for the first time.
An old lady around her mid 70's walked up gazing upon the girl. "Oh my, what a pretty little thing. It seems her beauty is hiddin though." She walked over a little ways closer to Dizzy as Dizzy was just done bathing herself. "Miss, hello there. Why are you bathing in this dirty lake?" Dizzy turned in shock, she stared at the lady. "Miss I wont hurt you, Im Matilda Albarn." As Dizzy pulled a much oversized shirt over her head she bowed gracfully. "My name is Dizzy." With a hint of confusion the old lady tilted her head, "Dizzy? Thats quite an odd name. Is that a nickname?" Dizzy shook her head," No ma'am my name is Dizzy." The lady laughed, "Your mother must have had a reaosn for that right?" No ma'am. "she paused" I have no mother, nor father. Never had. "Oh my. Uhm, do you live near here? Dizzy nodded as she took the old ladys hand and walked her through the trail, there were many branches. It was tricky to get through. After a ways the woman could see the house and she was amazed, yet fritened. "Ma'am this is where I live." They entered and the woman looked around the whole house, she smiles as she hugged Dizzy. "From now on Dizzy, Ill take care of you. Only untill your fifteenth birthday, by then you can handle yourself." she chuckled. Dizzy seemed confused but nodded and smiled.
Then Dizzy was eleven so she stayed in the care of the woman for four years. She still lived alone in her house but Matilda, who she now called Matie, just visited everyday. Now once Dizzy's fifteenth birthday came Matie promised her one thing. "Every other day, I will send you money, I will help you through mail. Your going to stay at my husbands warehouse. Its big, but needs some work." said Matie. "I know you can do this child because Ive seen your art, your imagination and creativity, make that place yours. Make it shine just like your eyes." Dizzy was confused, if youve seen Dizzy she is pale, she has long black hair, its past the middle of her back. Now Dizzy's eyes, they are blank and black, Dizzy would stare at them and just think....empty, sadness, and pain. She hated her eyes, what did Matilda see that she did not?
