Tai Chi Quan is a traditional Chinese martial art since ancient times.However,many people in these days have regarded it as a physical
exercise in obtaining optimum health,not only physically but mentally as well.Nevertheless,this popular and time-honoured art is effective
for both preventive and therapeutic purposes.
Traditional,Tai Chi has three reasons for being.As a physical exercise,as a martial art and as a system of psychological and spiritual
development.Tai Chi is the ideals of balance,courage,integrity,external gentleness and internal strength,all within the enbracing principle
of naturalness.It is a mysterious,flexible and adaptable,combining of techniques and methods,strong and yet gentle martial art.People
who pratice Tai Chi will secure maximum benefits from it,in achieving healthy and strong body,peaceful and relaxed mind in prolonging lifespan.
Great Master Huang Sheng-Shyan had honoured and devoted all his time and efforts in research and development of Tai Chi Quan.His
undisputed devotion has leaded us today's practice method.
In respect of Master Huang's devoted spirits,Huang's Tai Chi Fellowship has formed a standardize and systematic upgrading examination to
encourage its students to further develop and upgrade themselves.The examinations are conducted in stages and tests include Pushing Hand,
Short Form,Long Form,Knife,Spear,Sword,Stick and Free Hands.
Every year,an upgrading examinaton and national demonstration competition will be held by Malaysia Huang's Tai Chi.In every two years an
International Tournament will be held to encourage participants from overseas to join us and exchange skills and knowledge.
We wish to call upon all youths to join us in this beneficial activity in health promoting and self-developing.Old and young,men and women are
all welcome to join the Huang's Tai Chi Fellowship.
