Frequently Asked Questions

Taco Members FAQ

What is Taco Night?
Taco Night is the official meeting of the Taco Council. And although the purpose of these meetings is questionable, the tacos are enjoyed by members and guests alike.
There are Official Rules?

Yes, Taco Night is a serious organization with members and rules. The council has completed a TaCode to hold its decrees.
What are the Taco Night Rules?
Rules of the Taco Council apply to council members only because they are the only ones who have voting rights.
All rules of the council are listed in the TaCode.
Can I become a Taco Night Member?
It takes a unanimous vote from all already existing members after a consecutive third week of attendance (unless otherwise excused from absences) to become an official member.
After becoming an official member and being assigned a unique Taco Title, rules will be explained and clarified if need be.
Guests to the Taco Meetings will be notified of rules on a need-to-know basis as most Taco Decisions are made by members only.
Don’t you think this is the least bit dorky?
      Yes.

Are there different types of membership?
Why yes, there are two types of membership: Resident Members and Non-Resident Members. Resident membership designates those individuals who permanently reside in the TACO HEADQUARTERS.
These select few enjoy permanent and unalterable membership on the Taco Council
