All hats hand knit of 100 % acrylic for softness and durability. All joints are reinforced. I can make any color combination and both newborn and toddler sizes.

When my daughter was born, a kind friend of my mothers gave me an adorable hat that looked like a lemon with a little green stem and leaf on top. I was curious and asked her how to make it. I had been dabbling in crochet and knitting here and there but never made a hat before. After the lesson I thought to myself how laborious it seemed to get the turn out she was looking for and began my search for a better hat pattern. I needed more heads than just my daughter to test out all the patterns I found ha ha, so I began donating hats to premature babies. I didn’t keep an official count but it’s probably up to around 300 or so donated so far. I’ve made and still make many other items when I can find the time, but I always seem to get back to baby hats. I’ve taken elements from several patterns and tweaked them to come up with my own reliable version with a twist on top. It’s a nice small project to travel with or bring to work with me and it’s very relaxing and satisfying to knit and complete a project in a few hours. I’ve been told over and over I should sell my creations. I seem to have a limitless number of hats still coming out of my needles so here finally is a website displaying my favorite and most popular baby hats. I would love to find a small baby shop or specialty shop willing to carry my hats on a more permanent basis.
