STAFF RULES AND DUTIES

Everyone's jobs are as follows.

OWNER:
• Posting around cult in threads where higher staff attention is needed.
• Updating the layout
• Making basic decisions about the direction of the cult
• Fixing the storeroom
• Posting on the bulletin
• Occasionally the rest of the staff duties when the others get lazy. (which is a lot of the time, sadly) (as if my jobs don't take up enough time as it is!)

ROOT:
• Fixing up the bulletin whenever owner is not available
• Chasing up members who don't follow the rules
• Sitting there looking pretty instead of doing their job
• Inviting new members [1]
• Welcoming new members [2]
• Adjusting user titles [3]

ADMIN:
• Staying active [4]
• Inviting new members [1]
• Welcoming new members [2]
• Adjusting user titles [3]
• Ensuring members follow the cult rules, and if a problem cannot be fixed, calling owner or roots to step in
• Keeping forum clean (though this is more of a moderator job)

MODERATOR:
• Helping out with invites [see 1]
• Approving new members (if higher staff do not deal with it for a long time) (yes, this does happen *glares at roots and admins*)
• Ensuring members follow cult rules (if needed, asking a higher member of staff to step in)
• Keeping forum clean. [5]

[1] There are specific times for mass invites.. otherwise, you only invite one or two people at a time when you see someone that looks like they might like the cult
[2] Tthis process involves approving new members and leaving them a comment on their profile telling them of the acceptance, welcoming them and telling them about the 'welcome and introductions' thread and also any other necessary things that you feel you should mention
[3] when new members make a profile, their user titles must be fixed accordingly. Name in bold and a physical description in size 1
[4] Great levels of inactivity will lose a staff member their staff position unless they inform the cult of their absence in advance.
[5] deleting irrelevant posts in RPs, deleting posts that violate cult rules, locking and after 48hrs deleting inactive RPs, Cleaning out old threads that haven't been posted in in a long time, ensuring that the forums stay within 1 page of active threads and etc

[*] A note on locking threads. No matter what your status is (apart from owner for various reasons), you must get consent from 2 other staff member of an admin status or highe. Moderators don’t deal with problematic threads. This is so confusion is eliminated among staff and there are no misunderstandings about decision making around here.

[**]Under no circumstances are any staff to delete any members off the cult or abuse their powers. There are no warnings for screw ups. Instant loss of staff position and a possible deletion and ban are the consequences. No second chances are given to Staff that piss me off
