If you choose the humans of the following species, any member may turn you into a vampire during an RP. If this happens, you will lose your powers. The bloodlines are as follows: Based on Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles There are many witches in the Mayfair family, though they all have various levels of power. The witch most well-renowned for power is the Designee (usually female), whose position is chosen by the previous Designee; though they are not always the most powerful witch. The descendants of the Mayfair bloodline are human, and mortal. They have the ability to call upon spirits and ghosts, through spells, research and blood. The only way to gain these powers is to be a part of their bloodline. If a person of Mayfair linage becomes immortal, they lose all of these abilities. Based on Laurel K Hamilton's Anita Blake series Animators are human mortals can raise zombies, sense the dead/vampires/ lycanthropes, and estimate their power levels. They also have the ability to resist mental influence from lesser vampires. To raise zombies, animators must make a blood sacrifice of some sort; to raise a zombie centuries old, they must make a human sacrifice. They cannot call spirits or ghosts. If an Animator becomes immortal, they lose these abilities. Based on the Underworld series The lycanthropes of the bloodline of William are immortal, do not age and cannot give birth. This is due to the fact that their bodies are constantly replenishing the cells that make up their appearance and make them seem ageless. To become a lycanthrope of William's blood, a persons blood must be mixed with the lycanthropes saliva. These immortals are extremely susceptible to damage by silver, and can shapeshift at will; though they are at their strongest during a full moon; when they are forced to transform. The transformation process for them is slow and painful, though their lycanthrope form is a lot stronger than their human one. Based on the Myths of Choche?o from the Ohlone The shape shifters of the bloodline of Chocheño have the ability to shapeshift from a human-form to one basic animal creature. They are telepathic, and are able to make shifts quickly, and at any time. However, these transformations do take up a lot of their energy. They are not immortal nor ageless. Power is gained through development of telepathy and selective breeding. At their most powerful, the Chocheño are able to change into an anthrope form at will. They are able to reproduce much like humans and are susceptible to damage from steel of any sort. Like humans, they have very slow healing abilities. |
