 Based on Anne Rice's novels The vampires of Akasha's linage are very powerful. They are immune to silver and holy items, and can self-heal any wound almost instantaneously. The older the vampire, the more powerful their gift, with vampires over the age of 800 being able to fly, wield fire, and use mind gifts. The younger vampires of this bloodline have great physical strength and speed and basic telepathic powers such as extrasensory perception. All vampires from this bloodline are extremely vulnerable to sunlight and fire, as well as having their fate heavily linked to Akasha's. Maximum age allowed: 100 years  Based on the Underworld movies The vampires of the bloodline of Marcus are mainly upper-class aristocrats; a sophisticated, elegant breed which uses technology to gain status in the modern day world. Due to their hatred of Lycanthorpes and the many wars they have faced against them, the Vampires of this bloodline have heightened senses, more so than any other linage. These vampires are slow healers, and cannot fly, however they have excellent leaping and climbing skills, can climb walls, stick to ceilings and are immune to holy items. They have a strong sense of family and covenship, and will stick together making them a formidable foe indeed. Max age allowed: 400 years  Based on the Blade Trilogy The vampires of Drake's bloodline can live forever and are immune to diseases like other vampires, but are severely allergic to silver and garlic. They take a long time to heal, however they can survive extreme circumstances and are faster and stronger than humans, though not by much. They honor friendship and family, however they will go against each other to purse personal goals. The vampires of this bloodline also are able to get pregnant and give birth. Hamiltons 'Anita Blake' series The vampires of the bloodlines of Belle Morte are beautiful, kinky vampires who can gain power from both sex and blood. They are seductive and powerful, though very few can fly. These vampires can heal quickly, but will die via stake at the heart, or decapitation. Physically, they are the 2nd strongest bloodline (after Akasha's) but are very slow in movement. They heal at the rate of a human when wounded with silver, and experience great pain when shown religious items. Newly bred vampires from this linage need the leader of their bloodline's power to keep them alive; without it they go insane and/or die. This stops after the age of 300 when the vampire becomes fully developed in their vampirism. All vampires of this bloodline also have the power to hypnotize humans with their eyes and probe their minds. Max age allowed: 300 years  Based on Laurel K. Hamiltons 'Anita Blake' series Nemhains bloodline can generate and feed off peoples blood and fear. They have control over raw vampiric powers, and masters of her linage can fly. They heal quickly but die if you stake them in the heart or decapitate them. They heal at the rate of a human if you wound them if silver, and are susceptible to damage via holy items. Non Master vampires need the leader of their bloodline's power to keep them alive, without it they go insane and/or die. They too can hypnotize humans with their eyes. After the age of 300, a vampire of this bloodline will become fully developed in their power so they do not require their master anymore. The very powerful ones may become masters themselves. Hamiltons 'Anita Blake' series The vampires of the bloodline of the lover of death can rot and regenerate at will, making them hard to kill, you can never be sure unless you use fire or sunlight to destroy them. They heal quickly but die if you stake them in the heart or decapitate them. They are vulnerable to damage via holy items and have the power to hypnotize humans with their eyes and probe their minds. They become fully developed at the age of 300 and after that may become master vampires.
