Syrah Pineson

Some news: The Blue Rose didn't win with SKoW, but that's okay. They were taking forever, anyway. I just wanted to finish posting the story. I just got the second half of the epilogue up today, so as far as FP's concerned the story's done, but I can't say the same for my own copy--or FP's, for that matter. I'll still be editing it, as I always am, and it will probably begin to refect the major edits I've been giving the original, just to make replacing chapters with their better versions easier. 

And Hercules is at 11 chapters so far. I'm not thinking it'll reach too far past 25. To be honest, I'm not as into it as I once was, but I'm going to finish it nonetheless because I told myself I would. I've been writing chapters in the mornings I'm too lazy to turn on my computer, and productions been a lot faster as of late, so maybe I'll be able to get it out of my way and start another project one of these days.

My NaNo novel... I've figured out a way to edit it into a story worthy of reading, but whether I'll have it ready by June 1st (where I can get a free proof copy of it from CreateSpace)  is still a mystery. I've been really afraid of looking at that story these days.

Maybe I'll actually update next month, I've been kinda lax on that... ;P

Three days early, and I am now done with The Blue Rose. Rejoice! Hallelujah! Holy crap! Of course, this 623 page (1.5 spacing) manuscript still needs to be edited, and for the most part I've been doing that right along, but since I've been writing so much of it in the past month those chapters all need to be looked over for obvious flaws, loopholes, blahblahblah. I'm not about to try and submit it for publishing else--but nevertheless, after three long years, this baby is basically done. I can now submit myself to my other projects. Something Like Hercules, that means you.

And just a head's up for all who care, this website's layout will change to reflect that new project. I just hafta find a decent template.

Maybe you've probably already figured it out, but I go by many names. On fictionpress and fanfiction, I am CaveDweller version 1.0 of the pen name CaveDwellers. Officially, my pen name is Syrah Pineson (pronounce it how you will), and in real life I've got yet another name that most people either can't pronounce or remember, so I end up getting called other things, too. It's not that hard to imagine that I'll answer to just about anything at this point.

And as most experienced web-builders can probably tell, I am a total newbie. I don't know what the heck I'm doing, really, but I'm going to try and make this website as great as it can be without professional help (god, I wish I had spell-check here).

That being said, the content of this site is going to be my written works. My story links/summaries, the fansites/fanfiction, deleted scenes, character know-how and splurges (don't ask me for the details yet) and... well, whatever else comes to mind and sounds good. I'm planning on having a lot of fun with this.
