-One blanket went to Bailey our new rescue white cat. He has not enough meat on his bones so the extra warmth and softness is much appreciated by him..
-The other blanket will go to Sarah jayne for her kittens Jeremy, Jordy & Jodie
-Natasha & Tatiana went to a new foster carer today, and we were pleased to be able to send with them a lovely new bowl and some toys.

May'09 - A big thank you on behalf of our rescued pets,  to Tony, Kay and Janene of "Don't Fret Pet!"  http://www.dontfretpet.com.au/ who held an event 'Pooches in the Park' at St. Helens Park, Macarthur on Saturday 2nd May. They handed out about 200 Sydney Pet Rescue & Adoption flyers in their info bag and collected donations totalling $13 to which they added their own donation of $50.

Feb'09 - Kirsty and Troy from Oatley for their very generous donation of $1,759. They asked their engagement party guests to donate to Sydney Pet Rescue instead of giving them gifts, with this wonderful result. We will put some of this towards Kit-Kat's medical expenses ($500) and various other pets medical & boarding expenses, and $500 towards new holding pens.
  Feb'09 - Lyn from Epping for her very generous donation of $1,000.  We will use $500 on Kit Kat's medical expenses and $500 towards new holding pens for mums & kittens
Feb'09 -  Jane from Narwee for her very generous donation of $500 towards emergency boarding which will cover Ruby, Kit Cat, Cindy-Lou and Snowflake. & some of our previous boarding expenses. The remainder of this money will be put into an emergency boarding fund which is greatly needed when we are short of foster carers.

Dec'08 - Sydney Pet Rescue has been one of the lucky recipients of a special Christmas Appeal run by the Young Lawyer’s Animal Welfare Committee. Kate and Ruth from the Young Lawyers have kindly delivered delivered 3 car loads of lovely goodies for our foster animals.
A big thank you to the Young Lawyers for their generosity. It has been a lovely surprise, and will help to ease the burden on our foster carers at Christmas, as well as give our foster pets some nice little Christmas treats.

Thanks to Munchkin's foster carers, Melissa and Troy, for a laser light pointer for our foster cats to play with. Michelle looked everywhere unsuccessfully, for one and when she got home, what should be hanging on the front door, but a lovely gift from Melissa and Troy - a laser light pointer! Foster kittens Polly, Mitzy, Chanel, Tommy and Milo have already had lots of fun chasing the laser light. Muffy, Possum and Sootie also joined in the fun.

Thanks to Lyn and Louise from Manly Vale for donating their raffle prize to our rescued pets. The shopping voucher for $100 from Pet Care 2000 was a lovely surprise, and is very much appreciated.  We will spend it on kitten food. We have lots of kittens in foster care at the moment and we weren't fortunate enough to have any kitten food donated at Christmas. So thank you kindly for thinking of us.
