  Our mission:

1. To rescue and re-home companion animals from death row in pounds, and other homeless animals.
2. To short circuit the surrender process, and thus reduce the number of animals reaching death row, by providing owners with viable alternatives to surrender, including: short term emergency foster care, assistance with locating pet friendly accommodation and assistance with re-homing.
3. To educate the public on responsible pet ownership, and their rights and responsibilities  under the Companion Animals Act, the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, and other relevant legislation.
4. To promote an understanding of the valuable role companion animals play in the lives of individuals and the community.
5. To promote the prevention of cruelty to animals.

     Our policy:

• We are committed to a no kill policy. We keep animals as long as necessary to find them a home.
• Our re-homed animals are vet checked, vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed, flea treated and de-sexed. Our dogs are also heart worm tested.
• We offer a minimum 2 week trial period with all of our re-homed animals.
• We pet match potential new owners to ensure an appropriate match with lifestyle factors, to ensure a safe and suitable home, and to facilitate a durable home.

Other information:

• We have been successfully rescuing and re-homing companion animals, mostly cats and kittens over approx 2 yrs. Some of our founding members have >15 years experience actively working with rescue groups and animal charities.
• At present we are all volunteers.
• We have an active network of volunteers and foster carers, and our capacity is continuing to grow at a steady rate. We currently have foster carers in St George and Sutherland Shire, Campbelltown, Penrith and North Shore areas.
• We receive no government funding, and rely totally on our own fundraising efforts, and the generosity of the public.
• We aim to establish a member benefits program, which will make membership attractive, and promote quality companion animal services.
• We are a registered charity and non profit organisation, and a member society of WSPA.
• We have tax deductible status. All donations of $2 and over are tax deductible
