- Wash regularly with medicated soap or detergent lotion and hot water.
- Try NOT to touch you face with your hands. There are a lot of germs on your hands and you don't want to be rubbing them into your face!!!
- A BIG mistake people normally make is to squeeze or pick their spots. DO NOT do this!!! You will make them worse and damage your skin structure, leaving scars!!!
- Fresh fruits and vegetables are better for your skin.If fatty foods such as fried fods and chocolate give you spots then stop eating so much of them and try not to eat them at all (we all know how hard chocolate is to give up!!!)Keep you hair short and wash it rehularly. A lot of grease can transfer from your hair onto your face.Sun helps spots but not when you get burnt, so try to get some sun to your face without burning it.
- If all else fails then try this (an old remedy from my family somewhere): Use 2 to 3 teaspoons of dried basil leaves to one cup of boiling water. Steep for 10-20 minutes. Cool and apply with cotton ball.
Other quick tips
Toothpaste always seems to do the trick. Dab a small amount of paste so that it just covers the spot. Then let it dry and wash it off with warm water. Then do it again. Do this before you go to bed and you'll soon notice that the spot has lost its glow!!!
