Ship For World Youth Alumni Association Mauritius

The Ship for World Youth ( SWY) is a unique international cultural exchange programme, which was initiated in 1989 by the Government of Japan. The SWY is one of the most prestigious international programmes, bringing together over 250 young people from all around the world to learn about international cooperation and understanding.                                    

Mauritius first participated in the exchange programme in 2001(SWY 14th) and a second time in 2005 (SWY 17). These participations further led to the establishment of  SWYAA Mauritius. The Republic of Mauritius also got the privilege of being invited for the 18th edition of this prestigious programme , from 19 January to 02 March 2006.

This humble website has the aim of establishing an international platform for international youth cooperation and the promotion of global peace and brotherhood. It also contains loads of important information and links regarding the SWY Programme.
