Our priority is to bring communities together and we continue to expand our commitment from volunteers throughout each of our broadcasts.  This includes all radio and online productions, but lately we have had offers of recordings from our visitors to our chatroom from around the world. 

This resource has opened new doors for our organisation and people like Chris Lincoln from Canada, experimenting in recording, editing and mixing, is now an expert in producing his own radio jingles for Shankill Radio.   At first Chris was a bit shy about delivering his product, but each jingle he sent back became more professional than the last. 

And Mark Ferry (a local man), who has listened to Shankill Radio with his wife Lesley and his 2 daughters Jade and Emma from our very first broadcast, has become one of our newest ads and jingle voiceovers.  We had only to ask Mark would he like to try out his voice for an advertisement and he volunteered his time without hesitation.
