Adopting a hound is fantastic but to foster can give several hounds a helping hand by letting them gain experience of a home life and to let their true personalities emerge. Could you be special enough to foster a SVGR hound?

DOG OF THE MONTH*****SPOT*****DOG OF THE MONTH

Poor Spot is now our longest resident, please help us find her a home for xmas.

It looks as though she has been attacked by a badger. Spot is great with people but does display some fear aggression with other dogs. She is a young bitch and with a confident owner, the use of a muzzle and some socialising she could overcome her fear.

SPOT IS NOW OUR LONGEST RESIDENT AND IS STILL WAITING FOR AN EXPERIENCED HOME.

2 year old black bitch, has lots of scars which are possibly due to a badger.

RESERVED*****KATE*****RESERVED

5 year old black bitch, just in and will be spayed shortly.

TOWER

Tower is in a foster home and this is what his fosterer has to say about him:

Tower appears to be a generally calm, relaxed and happy dog. Already well behaved indoors and is undemanding.

FERN

Fern is now in a foster home.

This is what her fosterer has to say about her:

Fern walks nicely on a lead and is confident and friendly with other dogs. She enjoyed a run on the beach with Lloyd and returned to us with no problem.
Fern is clean and not destructive in the house. She has been very calm and well behaved when we have had visitors in the house, and has also been excellent with our grandchildren even when the boys were playing near her.

ROO

Roo is a large, friendly white and blue, two year old dog who loves people.

He is good on and off lead and came to us as a direct result of the Swansea track closure.
