On the 10th of January an extraordinary shareholders meeting of Antiquorum was held in which the company’s management presented interim financials for the six months ended September 30, 2007. The figures included in these financials seem to be far from reality and show an increase of expenses by a factor of 2.3 producing a loss of over CHF 7 Million for this short period. Requests for more detailed information by Habsburg Holdings and Osvaldo Patrizzi (representing 50% of the shares!) were flatly refused. Based on the (questionable) losses presented, Antiquorum’s management then pushed through a reorganization plan by deciding to cancel the existing shares and issuing new shares. Monday, March 10, Evan Zimmerman and Antiquorum USA, along with the New York Police Department, were served with the complaint and summons for the law suite filed by Mark Schumacher, regarding the wrongful actions taken against him on August 2, 2007 (False Arrest/Imprisonment; Assault, and several other accusations).

Unfortunately, the premonition of death is becoming reality. Brandon Thomas has finally reached his moment of catharsis and has resigned today from Antiquorum, as well as Mr. Zanetta and Georgia Mondani!
The presentation by Evan Zimmerman of William Rohr as the future CEO of Antiquorum a few days ago combined with Mr. Rohr’s criticism of everything and everyone clearly had only one purpose, destabilizing the company. It has become obvious that Evan Zimmerman only has one thing in mind, finding a way to separate Antiquorum USA from the rest of the group even if that means that the rest of Antiquorum will go under.
It is with extreme sadness, that after 34 years of unprecedented growth and success, and global recognition as an innovative international auction house, to watch Antiquorum begin its decline and hear the death bells tolling. As the Father of Antiquorum, it gives me no delight to see my child die, and more death is on the way.
But it is with great pleasure that I announce that the old lion is not dead. We will be presenting our new venture to the press on April 7-8th, and I promise you that it will revolutionize the world of auctioneering.
