Grace is a Border Collie, born November 1997.
She has achieved her ICE BLUE MOON award in flyball.
Grace has also had several Bests Of Breed in the show ring and a few places and clear rounds in agility. She is now learning tracking for fun!
Grace also has her Kennel Club Good Citizen GOLD Award. Grace was the West Of England Border Collie Club FLYBALL DOG OF THE YEAR for 2004 and 2003. Sadly on November 17th 2008(the day before her 11th birthday)Grace was found collapsed and unable or unwilling to walk. After 3 days in the vets she was walking, but in a lot of pain. A MRI scan 2 weeks later showed that she had 3 bulging discs. Following a futher collapse after her scan and 6 weeks cage rest, Grace underwent physiotherapy and hydrotherapy as well as accupuncture. Grace is now walking again and thinks she is better, but she will never play flyball again as the risk of futher damage is just too great. Grace is now in retirement, but is still an honourary member of the team.
