Rogue Squadron

Rogue Squadron has been around since the beginning of the Rebellion. They were originally a fighter wing of the Rebellion of X-Wings. Later they became what we now know the Rogues to be today. They became X-Wing Pilots/Commandos. The original leader of Rogue Group died at the First Death Star Battle.

Garven Dreis was the first Rogue Leader and the first pilot to attempt the trench run. He died at the First Death Star Battle.

The next leader of Rogue Squadron was Luke Skywalker. He first took over the Rogues right after the Battle at Yavin IV and then fought at the battle of Hoth. He then took the Rogues out on a campaign against Moff Seerdon as Rogue Leader and took his campaign all over the galaxy.

He then handed the Rogues over to Wedge Antilles for the Second Death Star Battle. After the Second Death Star Battle, Wedge became the permanent leader of Rogue Squadron until he decided to from Wraith Squadron and hand the Rogues over to his second in command.

Second in command of the Rogues is Tycho Celchu. The blonde haired Correlian took over the Wraiths for a few months while Wedge was deep under cover with the Wraiths infiltrating Warlord Zinj's group of pirates as the Hawk Bats. But when Rogues from the Original Rogue Squadron started joining Wraith Squadron, Tycho started taking a more aggressive approach to his missions.

Wes Janson was one of the first to join the Wraiths from the Original Rogue Squadron. But Wes Janson didn't start out with the Wraiths. No, he started out as one of the Tierfon Yellow Aces as a gunner on a Y-Wing. His first kill unfortunately was a friendly when he had to shoot down fellow Tierfon Yellow Ace Kissek Doran for panicking and nearly blowing their cover.

Very much like Wes Janson, Dack Ralter was a gunner first and foremost. He was only about 20 when he was killed at the Battle of Hoth. As this is true of every pilot, the Alliance would not have escaped Hoth if it weren't for Dack Ralter.

Biggs Darklighter, best friend to Luke Skywalker, was one of the pilots to be killed at the First Death Star Battle. He was one of the more unique pilots I think because he was one of the few pilots that didn't doubt Luke's abilities to fight in a star fighter. Later, his cousin, Gavin Darklighter, joined the Rogues to follow in his cousins footsteps.

Cesi Eirriss was one of the Rogues that was not very well known. She was killed after the First Death Star Battle at Commenor while the Alliance was picking up a shipment of Astromechs for the starfighters.

Commander Narra was Rogue leader unofficially after the First Death Star Battle and died shortly before the Battle of Hoth. He was shot down and killed at Derra IV.

Jek Porkins was probably one of the biggest men to pilot a starfighter. He could fit because he wasn't wide, he was outwardly big. Anyways, he was also one of the brave Rogues that died at the First Death Star Battle.

Derek Klivian was an Imperial Cadet before he became a part of the Alliance and later a Rogue. The most recognizable battle that he fought in was the Battle of Hoth. He then later served as second in command to Tyhco Celchu in Rogue Squadron while Wedge was with Wraith Squadron.

Zev Senesca was the famous pilot who rescued Han Solo and Luke Skywalker from the snowy wastes of Hoth. He then later died in the Evacuation of Echo Base.

Feylis Ardele is one of the pilots of Rogue Squadron that has a shady background. She was originally a pilot for the Commenor Militia and was one of the greatest Tie pilots ever to join Rogue Squadron.

The only person to ever go from Imperial Service to the New Republic and then back to Imperial Service was Baron Soontir Fel. He started out as the leader for the 181st Tie Intercepter Imperial Wing. He was then shot down in a battle against the Rogues but agreed to fly with them in return for the New Republics services in helping him find his wife, Wedge Antilles sister. He then rejoined the 181st and fought against the Rogues and still is today.

She joined the Rogues after the Battle of Brentaal and soon wanted a transfer because of the high kill rates of the squadron. After she had put a big dent in the 181st ranks, she decided a transfer was a little over-rated.

Ibtisam is 1 of 2 Calamari to join a squadron that Wedge Antilles has formed. She barely survived the Second Death Star Battle and after that joined Rogue Squadron, but later died in their service.

Elscol Loro was a Rogue for a very short while. She flew in a campaign on Tatooine with Wedge Antilles but because of her mental stability Antilles dismissed her after the campaign.

Plourr Ilo, the sole surviving member of the Eiattu Royal family on Eiattu. She fought with the Rogues on Eiattu. By ending the civil war on Eiattu with the Rogues, she brought Eiattu into the New Republic.

One of the most famous Sullustans in the New Republic was Dllr Nep. He flew with the Rogues on many missions throughout Rogue history. On his last mission, a power hungary Devaronian that stumbled onto a Sith Temple that gives the inhabitants Sith Powers, kidnapped Nep. Dllr, with the Sith Powers, directed Herian I'ngre in his X-Wing on a suicide mission to the Sith Temple to destroy it. This act of courage and valiantry ended both of their lives, but rid the galaxy of the Sith Temple and Magic.

Nrin Vakil flew with the Rogues until the death of his friend, Ibtisam, took place over Ciutric. He then became a pilot trainer in the New Republic Armed Forces. Even though he is now a trainer, he still flies with his fellow Rogues every now and then.

Son of the famous Airen Cracken, in charge of New Republic Intelligence, Pash Cracken joined the Imperials and defected to the Alliance on his first mission out of the Imperial Academy. He then joined the Rogues after the Battle of Borleias. He still flies with them today after overcoming their suspicions that he was spying for his father.

Gavin Darklighter is the one and only cousin to a name engraved in New Republic history, Biggs Darklighter, killed at the First Death Star Battle. Gavin joined the Rogues to honor his cousin and he was only 16. He was involved in the capture of Coruscant and bye the time of the Yuuzhan Vong Invasion, he was the Rogues commanding officer.

Erisi Dlarit became a Rogue to supposedly fight tyranny in the galaxy. She actually turned out to be a mole placed in Rogue Squadron by Ysanne Isard. She practically handed fellow Rogue Corran Horn into Isard's hands. Later Corran escaped from Isard and rejoined the Rogues to find Erisi gone and in the Empire's service once more. During the Battle of Thyferra, Horn shot her down and killed her.

Jedi make some of the best pilots in the galaxy. Corran Horn is no acception. He has flown with the Rogues since before the capture of Coruscant. He was captured by Ysanne Isard for a short period of time until he escaped the death trap Lusankya, an Imperial Super Star Destroyer that was buried under coruscant, and later got married aboard it to Miraz Terrik. He became a Jedi at Luke Skywalkers Jedi Academy on Yavin IV and then resigned his commission from the New Republic Military. When the Yuuzhan Vong invaded the galaxy he reinstated his commission and flew with the Rogues once again.

Bror Jace is one of the more unusual Rogues. During the Bacta War, Jace staged his own death. After the Rogues started to fight against Isard on Thyferra, he re-emerged from the Thyferran Resistance and joined back up with the Rogues.

Aril Nunb is the siter to the Alliance hero Nien Nunb who blew up the Second Death Star with Lando Calrissian. She was admitted into the squadron after the Battle of Borleias.

Ooryl Qrygg was the wingmate of Corran Horn. Since he is a Gand male and has not reached the superiority of his race, he refers to himself in the 3rd person. After the Battle of Thyferra, he reached the superiority of his race and was able to refer to himself in the 1st person.

Asyr Sei'lar has been a Rogue since before the Battle of Coruscant. She became romantically involved with Gavin Darklighter but couldnt because another Bothan senator, Borsk Fey'lya, pulled the plug. She then supposedly died at Corvis Minor but actually lived and started a new life on a Bothan colony world where she could help her society without war.

Inyri Forge became a Rogue after Zeka Thyne tried to betray the squadron on Coruscant. She followed in her older sisters footsteps as a Rogue, Lujayne Forge. She was still a Rogue by the time the Yuuzhan Vong invaded the galaxy.

Riv Shiel earned an Imperial Death Mark before he became a Rogue by taking out an entire stormtrooper squad. He then joined Rogue Squadron and fought at Borleias, taken off duty by the Krytos Virus, then killed over the skies of Thyferra.

The executive officer of Rogue Squadron just happens to be a lawyer also. Nawara Ven was injured when he was shot down on Thyferra too badly to return to his X-Wing but still remains the executive officer.

Lt. Tarn Mison was Samoc Farr's gunner at the Battle of Hoth.
