The Laughing Alligator Press is a not for profit organization committed to the concept of waging guerrilla warfare upon the sense of complacency that has permeated hearts and minds across the land.

Complacency bred by the smog of the Celebrity Machine.

Television.

The new opiate for the masses, as it has been so accurately described.

The Laughing Alligator Press is committed to taking the necessary measures to counteract this epidemic called cultural apathy.

Our first line of attack is free distribution.

This is currently being implemented through both our ezine, and our annual print zine.

Remember that it is your express responsibility to contribute to the world we share, in some form. If you do not like or approve of what we are doing, have done or intend to do, then make no mistake that you are under obligation to DO SOMETHING. Be it working with others or starting a project of your own. An artist cannot prosper in an environment that feeds upon itself, for eventually; the food will dwindle down to a sole survivor. Would it be considered cannibalism to be both the only artist, and the only individual alive that supports the arts?  Perhaps our philosophy overreaches, but the point stands.
