Richard walked into Jacob's hut, and poured a stone cup of water from a clay pitcher.
"I saw him again," Jacob said.
"Who, Jack?" Richard asked.
"No," Jacob said, and looked into Richard's eyes. Richard undestood.
"Oh..." he said, sollemnly taking a sip from his cup.
"I saw him again," Jacob said.
"Who, Jack?" Richard asked.
"No," Jacob said, and looked into Richard's eyes. Richard undestood.
"Oh..." he said, sollemnly taking a sip from his cup.
Emill looked at Jeff, swatting a locust off his ear. 'You were gonna say something..." she reminded Jeff, looking at her with a grim, uneager look.
On an island far off course of any ship, Jacob sat on the mountain side overlooking the statue of the Egyptian of of the Nile. A man with black hair sat down beside him.
"I will find a way to kill you, Jacob," the man said.
"When that day comes, I'm sure we'll both know," Jacob said.
Jacob snapped out of his memories as he remembered he was in a small hut on that same island, many years later. He groaned. He so much preferred his memories. If only he could find his childhood among them... but no. Ever since his brother had died, his memories had been limited to after that point. And the dark man was still there, taunting him...
"I will find a way to kill you, Jacob," the man said.
"When that day comes, I'm sure we'll both know," Jacob said.
Jacob snapped out of his memories as he remembered he was in a small hut on that same island, many years later. He groaned. He so much preferred his memories. If only he could find his childhood among them... but no. Ever since his brother had died, his memories had been limited to after that point. And the dark man was still there, taunting him...
Jeff called for order. The Spades were having another meeting again, and even with only three people, it was getting out of hand. Don't ask how they can achieve chaos, but if anyone can, the Spades can. Jeff looked around, hoping for peace. They never got anything accomplished, and this was starting to bug Jeff. As one final act to try to quiet the crowd, Jeff summoned a mass of locusts which passed through the underground room. 'There, finally some peace and quiet. Maybe now I can talk,' Jeff thought. 'Being the leader is hard work.' All heads turned towards her.
