Swaffy

God rocks.

→ Swaffy ( It doesn't hurt to read it, so please read it. )

→ Hey, my name is Matt, and I play [a lot] of Xbox 360 Live. My gamertag is Swaffy X. I ride a Rip-Stik, and I play airsoft and paintball. I am the age of 17 and a little over 6 feet tall. I have one sister, a mother and father. I play electric guitar, and I'm pretty good at it, too. It's been over two years since I began playing guitar.

On Tuesdays, I play for the Chapel Service at school, and on Wednesdays, I play for the youth group, youth412. My guitar is a Gibson from the early 1970's. You can see it in one of my pics. I also just got a ~$600 Fender Lone Star Stratocaster for my 17th birthday! But most important, I am a Christian. I love God very much, but as we all should know, He loves us much more. I am nondenominational, and believe in everything in the Bible, mostly because IT IS ALL TRUE.

I admit, most of the music I listen to isn't christian. Bands like Creed, Oasis, Alter Bridge, Pink Floyd, Crossfade, The Who, Bad Company, etc. My favorite band is Creed. When I heard their music for the first time, I was instantly drawn in to it. My #1 favorite song by Alter Bridge is In Loving Memory. You can download it on the Music page. My favorite song in general is Live Forever by Oasis, which is playing on this page right now. And yes, I can play this song on guitar, including the solos.

Surprisingly, me and my sister get along very well. We practically never fight or argue. My sister would randomly walk up to me and say "I love you, Matt!" at some of the most random times. Of course, I say I love her back (Family, right?). She has her license now, so she's gotta drive me around. Heehee. [Update: I have my license now.]

My Xbox 360 games: The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon, Battlefield: Bad Company, Battlefield: 1943, Battlefield: 2, Rock Band, N+, Halo 3, Halo 2, Marathon: Durandal, MX vs ATV Untamed, NFS Carbon, PGR3, Aegis Wing, Call of Duty 4, GTA 4

My Guitar

[Sorry, It's an old image. Out-of-date.]

→The story: My gibson was at first supposed to be given to my mom by my grandfather, but since she doesn't play electric, he handed off the guitar to me. At the time the guitar was passed on, so did my grandfather. Shortly after, he died from a stroke. I now play it with love for my grandfather.

→What it's made of: The body is real wood, not plastic. I don't know all of the technical terms, but the pickups are good. [Closed humbuckers, I think] The pickguard is slightly elevated for improved strumming. The plug-in sticks straight out, and the neck has a truss rod. The pickup switch is 3-way.

Cool info: The guitar is a hollow-body, which allows unplugged, acoustic playing. It also helps to put out a better, cleaner sound through the amp. Also, if you look at the picture, you can see on the head and fret markers, that there is a grey, shiny design on it. All of that is pure pearl.

→Brand names and dates: The Epiphone was made in the early 1970's, and because of its age, the name of the guitar is unknown. The only thing that says anything is the head, which presents, "Epiphone by Gibson."

→Prices: My price for it: priceless. A store's price: a little over $2,000. Don't worry, I will NEVER sell this beauty. (By the way, If you try to steal it, I might have to kill you. But I'm a Christian, so I will just hold you captive until you give it back.)

I have a new guitar: Fender- Lone Star Stratocaster

ArtistOasis  Song: Live Forever
