This site is dedicated to the soccer team SV Robinhood from Suriname, this is not official site but just a collection of images and info from a fan far far away. In the 10 years of me following Robinhood many people have helped me in my quest for information...A big thanks to all of them, too many to mention but they know who they are. | | Suriname gained independance from Holland in 1975, many of the black Dutch stars from the 80's and 90's either have parents or were born in Paramaribo the capital of Suriname. Famous players include Humphrey Mijnals, Kenneth Kluivert, George Gullit and Errol Emanuelson. There are more past stars in the whos who link. |
A Rich History
Robinhood are the record champions, winning 23 league titles in their 63 year history. They have also been runners-up in the Concacaf club chapionships too. Robinhood have been frequent visitors to Holland and have played friendlies against the giants of Dutch soccer Ajax Amsterdam. This site would not be possible without the help of True Robinhood supporters !!!!!!!
