Banstead Downs Golf Course 2. Firecrests still present along wooded footpath near telephone wire pole 678. Park at the south end of Burdon Lane (access to Burdon Lane via A217 Belmont Rise) and enter the immediately obvious golf course. As you enter, look to your right and you will soon see a noticeboard. This is the entrance to the wooded footpath. Take the wooded footpath and the birds have recently ranged  between the telephone wire poles labelled 657. and 3 along the wooded footpath.

Banstead Downs Golf Course 3. Firecrests still and showing well 15:55. Park at south end of Burdon Lane and walk to immediately obvious golf course. As you enter see the noticeboard on your right; this is the entrance to the wooded footpath. Walk c.300 metres along here until you reach the area between the telephone wire poles numbered 657. and 678. on your right as you walk down. This is the current favoured area for the birds. Also 2. Goldcrests Redwing Rose-ringed Parakeet

Banstead Downs Golf Course 2. probable Firecrests towards dusk. Park at the south end of Burdon Lane and enter the immediately obvious golf course where a noticeboard will be instantly viewable on your right on entry. This is the entrance to the wooded footpath. At the moment the favoured area is c.300 metres along this footpath between telephone wie poles numbered 657. and 678. although the Firecrests can be located anywhere along the wooded footpath. Single Mistle Thrushes at Overton Park and Belmont Park at least.

Lesser Redpolls all in birch along public footpath from Beddington Park and Mitcham Common at the second bridge that you come to as you walk from the park to the common though mobile and elusive at times +1. Water Pipit, 1. ad. Yellow-legged Gull, 1. Peregrine

Banstead Downs 1. Firecrest still present this afternoon (14:10). Park at the south end of Burdon Lane and enter the immediately obvious golf course. As you enter, to your right you will see a noticeboard. This is the entrance to the wooded footpath. Today the single was seen towards the beginning of the wooded footpath.

Sutton 2. Peregrines (male +female) still  behind the station. Female on Reed Building (big brown one just behind station) +male atop the glass building just north.

The birds' current favoured area is between telephone wire poles 657. and 678. although the FIrecrests can be located anywhere along the wooded footpath or anywhere on the site infact.

Park at the south end of Burdon Lane and enter golf course from here. Immediately on your right you will see a noticeboard, here is the entrance to the wooded footpath. Enter here. The favoured area is in between posts '678' and '1' (roughly 300.metres along) although the birds can be seen anywhere. Also 1 Bullfinch and 2+ Goldcrests (+G W'pecker GS W'pecker)

The other birds were here.
