Who was the deceased child? It seems the fourth child was born in Portsea. Three possibles are Philip Joseph born 1882 died 1883 (as Joseph Philip); Dorothy Ann born 1884 died 1890 or Emma Jane born and died 1184. As both Alfred and Ruthís mothers names were Emma I wonder if she was their fourth child?
