I had only traced the child and grandchildren of William Saxby my great-great-grandmother’s brother. However I have made further additions 11/1/2017. A Jane Saxby of Holywell St, Millbank was buried at Norwood Cemetery 31/12/1855 aged 48. However this is almost certainly the wife of Philip Saxby butcher. Occupation: bricklayer (also lodging there James Boxgrove 28 bricklayer and his wife Mary, an ironer) George Kemp 35 general labourer and his family in same building too 1867: Estate under £200, executor son Thomas Saxby 19 Chapter Street, Westminster Tothill fields was a marshy area between Millbank and Westminster Abbey, Tothill St the oldest in Westminster. In very early 19th century houses built Horseferry Rd and Vauxhall Rd, building on open Tothill Fields. Vauxhill Bridge Rd seems to be dividing line – one side Westminster the other Pimlico. Also no death (or emigration) has yet been found for Richard Anthony Saxby. I have yet to establish the fate of Elizabeth Jane Saxby who may have married Henry Gardiner.
