Maria Bennett was my gt-gt-gt grandmother's sister. And I still don't know when she died. Can anyone help? Also her daughter, probably Harriet Cooter, remains a mystery. I'm pretty certain Elizabeth and Deborah are also her daughters - was Deborah the strange Pryer Manser? If you can help please contact me martis1@hotmail.co.uk MARIA BENNETT Born: 1766 Binstead Father: Thomas Bennett Mother: Jane Allen Baptised: 5/10/1766 Binstead Married: 8/1/1790 Binstead Spouse: Thomas Manser Baptised: 11/5/1766 Heyshott Buried: 20/9/1848 Singleton from Downley, West Dean Parents; Abraham and Mary Manser Children: Diana Manser born 1790 Aldingbourne Elizabeh Manser born between 1791-1794 Aldingbourne : Henry Manser born 1795 Walberton Harriet Manser born 1797Walberton Phillis Manser born 1799 Walberton 1790: 8/11790 marriage witnessed by Zacheus Staker, John Rothwell.
