We're in Hutsai-Yow, a small fishing village on the coast of Southern Thailand, in the heart of the Ancient Orient, where these 16 Americans are about to begin the adventure of a lifetime. They will depart from this village as a group of men and a group of women. Their destination: Taratou Island, a beautiful but dangerous jungle, which was once a haven for pirates in the middle of the Andamin Sea. Exotic and deadly wildlife are bound including the king cobra and the worlds longest snake, the reticulative python. It is also the monsoon season, and the island is certain to be puddled by frequent tropical storms. This will be their home for the next 39 days. They will be abondond, left to fend for themselves, utilizing the resources of the land and their own survival skills. It is the ultimate challenge, 16 strangers forced to work together to creat a new society, while battling the elements and eachother. They must learn to adapt or they'll be voted out of the tribe.
