Survival of the Species
Chapter Eleven
So far, everything had gone well for the Nationalists; this was due to the dedication of the White patriots (with some good luck helping as well) - thanks to such activists, almost anything could be achieved. The Cause of the White Revolution was now firmly implanted at the forefront of the minds of most Australians.
Despite the original backlash of conservative-style citizens "concerned about law and order" against the Nationalist party, it had started to pick up massive support, now that the general public had begun to get used to the idea of a White Revolution, and had begun to understand the reasons and ideals behind it. The Nationalist party was still legally operating - as it had, of course, no official ties to the revolution.
Apart from having no obvious links to the White freedom movement, the Nationalist party was not being particularly coy about its support for the revolution's aims. Nationalist leaders were the only "politicians" not to condemn the bombings and shootings, only saying that these things were "unfortunate incidents... that were a terrible consequence of the Establishment parties having slyly enforced multiculturalism and multiracialism upon the Australian people".
Not only had public support began to solidify behind the Nationalist party, but apparently there had been a rash of copycat killings and harassment of multi-racial couples. Although most people didn't have any guns (except for those who had been prudent enough to not register them), there were enough stabbings, petrol bombings, and automobile hit-and-runs of multiracial couples (and of the muds in general) to be of real concern to the police and government.
One phenomenon was the growing ranks of the skinhead movement, which was being enlarged by scores of disaffected white youth that had had enough of this "sick society". In the past, the Nationalists had found the skinhead movement to be of limited value - trying to organise them for disciplined party activities and propaganda work was close to hopeless; half-way through an activity they were more inclined to head for the pub rather than soldier on. Of course, there were some who were of good calibre, but they were few and far between. Overall, the old-style skinheads lacked discipline, true dedication, and proper ideology - they were more akin to a gang than a serious social-political movement. But the waves of new recruits to the skinheads were of a different style, more attuned to political discipline and ideological struggle.
That is not to say that the old-style skins were no good; it was just necessary to find a niche for them to fit into, whereby they could truly help the Cause. Possibly it was in the area of copycat acts of harassment of multi-racial couples that the skinheads were to fit right in. Both during the daytime and at night, gangs of skinheads roamed the streets looking for multiracial couples to bash or harass (and sometimes kill, should a window of opportunity arise). In a way, the skinheads had become the "street soldiers of the revolution".
It had become unwise for multi-racial couples to go out together, particularly at night time. Although the media had originally kept quiet on the multi-racial nature of the "Black Friday" killings, the truth had slowly come out and was even now being openly discussed and condemned by the media, as part of their continual and unrelenting anti-racist propaganda.
One of the "favourite" shootings that the media dwelt upon was that of Joseph Rosenbaum and his Filipino mistress. His shooting was just a lucky coincidence for the Silent Brotherhood - they hadn't specifically targeted him (although maybe they should have?). Rosenbaum was a multi-millionaire who had made his money by foreign currency trading, buying and selling shares on the Stock Exchange, and sometimes dabbling in real estate speculation; he had never actually produced anything or contributed anything of value to the national economy in his entire life - he was just a parasite who had lived off the productive work of others. His only claim to media popularity was that he had bailed a rugby club out of receivership, and had become the club's owner and chairman, leading it to victory by buying in players from other clubs. Rosenbaum had contributed large sums of money to anti-racist organisations, often funding campaigns to counter Nationalist activities. He had also sent large donations to Israel (with which he held dual citizenship), especially funding Israeli settlements in areas that were under heated dispute by the Palestinians, thus trying to establish Israeli ownership by occupation.
Strangely enough, it was this chance killing of Rosenbaum that had brought about unforeseen consequences that heated up the revolution.
