MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTRESS 

Dear Firends

I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank you for visiting our web site. It is my prayers that you will come back again. The Sure Foundation Children Ministry and The Firm Foundation Youth Ministry AND THE HARVEST REFUGE HOMES were estasblished to meet the needs of the Liberian children and youth during the Liberian Civil War which took the lives of over 200.000 thousands people.

The political unrest affected family most. Parents were killed and children were turned orphans not because they wish it but because a wicked society have brought this choas on her own people. Many children who lost their parents were force to grow up and care for themselves, some were just lost, disconnected from family while others were abandoned. These children walked the street of Liberia without no care, naked, having no food, education, or shelter. They sleep in abandon buildings, football fields, street corners and market places.

Moreover, inorder to care and support themselves and sibblings, they became streets sellers, shoe shine-boys, pick pockers, robbers, and prostitutes. They were left with nothing but to used drugs, become child soldiers, gamblers, theif and so forth.

Seeing that something needed to be done urgently, The Harvest Outreach Ministries, http://www.homliberia.org set forth to established the Sure and Firm Foundations and Orphanages, the Harvest Refuge Homes to meet the needs of these children and direct them to Christ.

The orphans need a safe and permanent home, medical care, food, proper clothes, toys, education, school supplies, love, attention, counseling and a postitive lifestyle. Therefore, I am calling on churches, christian organization and individuals of goodwill to come to the aid of the Liberian. It is our prayers that someone will answer this call.

In January of 2009 the Foundation was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Non profit foundation.

In hope and great expectation, I can hear the Lord saying "My hands, Your Hands" If only you will help someone who is in need your living won't be in vain.
