The tablature for my rendition of the piano interlude from Rob Dougan's "Clubbed To Death." I've included a video, which
will hopefully aid you with possible difficulties; but, of course, if

Remember,
this song's emotive quality not only comes from the melody, but the
sustain of the notes, particularly the chordal accentuations. Keep that
in mind when choosing which fingers to hit each note, and what position
they're in. I featured the video as a guideline, but I did not include
my finger placement in the tab because I think it's best for the player
to do what is most comfortable for them. Which, may not necessarily be

for a short two-handed tapping song I call "Neoclassical Tap Riff."
There's probably a few mistakes in it, and the timing was hard to
illustrate with tabs; but I've included a video which might help. If

A couple years ago, I wrote a modified version of the bass solo "Anesthesia"
by Cliff Burton. It was meant as a dedication to him, a tribute to his
music, and his tragic death. Anyways, as for the song, it's all
fingerstyle with some tapped harmonics thrown in. For effects, I used
chorus and delay, both produced by my Digitech BP200. Although
you don't have to use any effects, I would highly suggest you at
least use delay. Without it, the song loses a certain feel, especially
in the introduction. For help, I've included a recording of me playing it.
Alright, on to the tab...
H - Hammer-on.
P - Pull-off.
( ) - Fret note, (associated with the tapped harmonics).
* * - Tap the note right on the fret, (to produce an artificial harmonic).
< > - Triplet. (I use a three finger technique for these, but you can use two just as well).
// - Legato slide.
/ - Slide down, and off the neck to no particular fret, or slide up to the next note.
' - These are added at the end of some of the chords, symbolizing to
play the chord, but play it slow, in a sweeping motion, using your
finger nail. (Just listen to the recording, you'll get it).
^ - Bend.
(For timing, just refer to the recording). Rest In Peace Cliff.
This is a tapping piece inspired by Eddie Van Halen's "Eruption." It was not written by me. As before, I made a recording of me playing the
song.
f = Fret (fret the note)

p = Pull-off x = Finger pluck
s = Thumb slap This riff for example, fret the 9 with your left index finger. Now tap
the 16 on the fretboard and then pull off the 12 with your left ring
finger. It sounds confusing but just do it quickly and it should sound

makes the song seem a little bit more structured and longer.
