MADISON AVENUE:
Most of our modeling work is for clients who are Madison Avenue Advertising Agencies in New York City. Some modeling work is done in Southern California ( Beverly Hills, Wilshire District, Studio City, Newport Beach, Malibu, or Hawaii or Florida, etc ). We require the client to pay for travel and accommodation and meal expenses ( in advance ) when shoots are on location. Models do travel all over the world to be photographed with the desired background. If, the model is required to travel there is an added fee required to be paid to the model by the client.
MODELS RELEASES:
We rarely book models directly with photographers the way other modeling agencies do, because we get our models employed by, either, an ad agency or a magazine. The ad agency or the magazine pays the model, and also pays the photographer and pays us. And, we have a strict policy, where we don't allow our models to sign a " Models Release " and give it to a photographer, until after the ad agency or the magazine has paid the model, then, the model signs a " Models Release " authorizing the use or publication of the models photographs. A " Models Release ", as most professional models know, is a contract between a model and a photographer, where the model gives the photographer permission to sell or use her photograph(s). In our case, the contract is between the model and an Ad Agency or a magazine ( not necessarily the photographer, unless the photographer has agreed to pay the model, whether or not the photos are sold ). Most " Models Releases " don't say how much the model was to be paid, but, ours does. Email us at: supermodelsagent@hotmail.com
OTHER MODELING AGENCIES:
We, of course, compete against other modeling agencies, like FORD, ZOLI, ELITE, WILHELMINA, LEGENDS, CLICK, NEXT, KARIN, PAULINE'S, DNA, New York Model Management, and/or TRUMP MODELS. And, we are seeking models who are the same qualitiy (or better quality) as our competitors.
TEARSHEETS:
If, you are a professional model, you have a modeling portfolio, you have comp-cards, and you also have some " tearsheets " in you modeling portfolio, ( and, if you do ), then, we want to talk to you about your modeling career and talk to you about the clients we service for modeling assignments.
Our BOARD:
If, we except you, then, you will be placed on our BOARD and you will be asked to go on AUDITIONS and modeling job interviews. Sometimes we will simply offer you modeling work. You have a choice as to whether or not you want to accept any modeling assignment. ( The BOARD determines which models are actively being booked , at a given time).
MINIMUM PAY:
None of our models work for less than $500 an hour (minimum of 4 hours of work). But, it could be more, if, we negotiate exclusively for you to do the work. The model pays us a 20% Agency Fee for all modeling work for which the model was paid.
BOOKING ORDERS:
There are no costs to the model for use of our services (except the 20% commission - based on what you get paid for the modeling job ). You will be required to carry "booking orders" in the side pocket of your modeling portfolio and eveytime you are photographed and/or work, you present a " booking order " to the employer, have them conplete the form, they sign it, and you return the "booking order" to us for billing. MODELING CONTRACTS:
Normally we start every model out on a trial basis ( no contract ) for 2-3 months ( so the model can prove that she can successfully do modeling work), unless the model is experienced and has in her modeling portfolio 6 or 7 tearsheets ( reprints of the actual page in a magazine of jobs the model has done ), as proof that she can do modeling work. If, the model does have tearsheets, then, we speak to her about, either, an EXCLUSIVE REPRESENTATION CONTRACT or a NON-EXCLUSIVE REPRESENTATION CONTRACT ( both a 2 year contract ). The NON-EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT allows the model to be represented by other modeling agencies, whereas the EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT prohibits the model from working with other modeling agencies, but, requires us to give the model a minimum amount of modeling work per year and also requires us to promote the model, give her access to our best clients, submit her for good-quality modeling jobs, and requires us to provide public relation services/publicity for the model.
PUBLICITY/PUBLIC RELATIONS:
We also provide public relations/publicity services for our models creating news about our models in the trade media, in consumer magazines, newspaper editorials, tv news, radio news programming, etc. We write news releases, assemble press kits, sponsor and produce press conferences, release news to the wire services (AP, UPI, CDW, PR Newswire, etc.). CELEBRITY MODELS:
Major Madison Avenue Ad Agencies need "Celebrity Models" for product endorsements and for spokespersonships. "Celebrity Models" are hired by Madison Avenue Ad Agencies, including: J. Walter Thompson, BBDO, DDB, Grey Advertising, McCann-Erickson, Y & R, BBDM, & Burson-Marsteller. We negotiate "Endorsement Contracts" and "Spokesperson Contracts", with Ad Agencies, for "Celebrity Models". TV COMMERCIALS:
We also book models for non-speaking ( and speaking ) roles in television commercials. These models are normally booked with the ad agency or with the director of the tv commercial production. We publish the TV COMMERCIAL DIRECTORS DIRECTORY which lists 450 professional tv commercial directors.The directory lists the credits of the directors and gives complete contact information for each director. We submit models for auditions with tv commercial casting directors, with tv commercial directors, and executives at major Ad Agencies.

CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS:
We sometimes are employed by models to negotiate, for the models, MODELING CONTRACTS with other modeling agents or modeling agencies. We can skillfully do that and a model can employ us to negotiate a contract for her. We can negotiate all types of modeling contracts, depending upon the case, the objectives of the model, the words the model wants in her contract, the obligations the model wants the other party to the contract to fulfill, and the " pay policy's " the models wants in her contract, etc.
MODEL WARS:
The modeling industry, on a regular basis, is involved in MODELWARS. MODEL WARS have occurred between modeling industry super-agent Barbara Lanz, owner of ZOLI models and Dieter Esch owner of WILHELMINA models ( two of our competitors ). MODEL WARS have been fought between KATIE FORD owner of FORD MODELS and Donald J. Trump owner of ELITE MODELS. MODEL WARS have been fought between Faith Kates owner of NEXT MODELS and Frances " Grey " Grill owner of CLICK MODELS. Many MODEL WARS have been won or lost based upon the decision making of publishing billionaire Samuel Irving Newhouse jr. "Si", the owner of CONDE NAST PUBLICATIONS, which is publisher of VOGUE and GLAMOUR magazines. Other billionaires in the modeling industry include, billionaire Theodore Forstmann owner of IMG ( modeling agency & talent agency ), billionaire Donald Trump who owns T-MODELS and T-MANAGEMENT ( talent agency )( Donald Trump now owns ELITE Models ), and Sumner M. Redstone, billionaire owner of CBS Magazines. Mr. Redstone's daughter Shari is also a billionaire. Mr.Redstone owns VIACOM, CBS TV, PARAMOUNT PICTURES, CBS MAGAZINES, UPN, MTV, and INFINITY BROADCASTING. Mr Redstone does business with dozens of talent agencies and modeling agencies.
TV COMMERCIAL DIRECTORS:
" TV COMMERCIAL DIRECTORS DIRECTORY ", recorded on a computer disc, so you can make reference to it on your desktop computer. The DIRECTORY, which lists over 450 TV Commercial Directors, ( includes credits and number of commercials produced by the director, if, over 100 ) is all a model needs to get AUDITIONS for tv commercials.
