Full synopsis -

When Captain America is awakened from an icy prison, and some of the greatest evils earth has seen are born, the Avengers go into action. Captain America, Iron-Man, Hulk, Wasp, Ant-Man and Thor. Will they be able to stop the likes of Loki and the Masters of Evil?

Scarlett now Black

Scarlett Johansson have signed on to star in “Iron Man 2,” Variety reports.ScarJo will play the Russian Black Widow . Johansson was approached for the role after Emily Blunt stepped aside because of her obligations to “Gulliver’s Travels.” The flick hits theaters May 2010.

She will do what Samual L Jackson is doing. Be "Black Widow" in Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, and The Avengers.

Sam L SIGNS ON to 9 Marvel Films

Just Weeks ago at the Scream Awards Jackson reportedly said that he is done playing Nick Fury. Now acordding to THR the actor has signed on to do 9 upcoming Marvel Films including "Iron Man 2", "Thor", "The First Avenger: Captain America", "The Avengers" and all there sequels. He wil aslo may play Nick Fury in an upcoming film based on him in "S.H.I.E.L.D".

Samuel L Jackson not NICK FURY !!!!

Samuel L. Jackson, clearly bristling, said today that negotiations to put him in the role of Nick Fury have broken down because "there seems to be an economic crisis in the Marvel Comics world."

Jackson told The LA Times, today that despite his cameo as the hard-bitten military man at the end of "Iron Man," it now appears that "somebody else will be Nick Fury or maybe Nick Fury won't be in it" when it comes to "Iron Man 2," "The First Avenger: Captain America" and "The Avengers," the announced slate of Marvel Studios projects through 2011 that might have a natural spot for the character.

Jackson, who is a fanboy favorite after roles in three "Star Wars" films, "The Incredibles" and "Unbreakable," was actually used as the model for the Ultimate Marvel version of Fury, which took the white, grizzled, aging commando with salt-and-pepper hair and re-imagined him as a younger, bald African American. There were cheers in theaters at the end of "Iron Man," when Jackson appeared as Fury, but when asked the actor about it today he shook his head.

"I saw ['Iron Man' and 'Iron Man 2' director] Jon Favreau at the Scream Awards and we had a conversation. He said, 'I hope things are working out for you because we're writing stuff for you.' Then all of a sudden last week I talked to my agents and manager and things aren't really working that well."

How about Tom as Nick Fury???

I was just thinking that maybe Tom Cruise??? He is coming up in the War Film Valkyrie. It is about a German General in World War 2 trying to assassinate Adolf Hitler. Plus look at that pic he looks like a Nick, he can act. What else do you need? Now don't get me wrong I love the idea of Sam L as Nick just thought I throw it out there. What is your opinion?

Eva Longoria as The Wasp???

Marvel Studios' dream line-up for the Avengers movie includes Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Ed Norton as the Hulk, but a recent visitor to the Marvel offices may have given away who will be playing the team's tiny insectoid supergirl, the Wasp.

FlawedHollywood.com snapped these photos of the Desperate Housewife when she visited Marvel Studios this weekend, and what are those thingys she's taking with her? Just a few of the most recent Avengers comics!

Could this portend that the petite actress will play Janet Van Dyne, a.k.a. the wasp? All is speculation at this point, but the comics character and Longoria's "housewives" part do have some similarities.

Both characters are tiny gals who have been victims of abuse. That part is pat. The question is... Can glamorous Eva also pull off the bit about being a scientist slash superhero? Let's hope so.

Avengers Cast Confirmed

Louis Leterrier has told us the confirmed cast of The Avengers Movie. Also he has mentioned that there WILL be an avenger in Iron Man 2. He has stated that Ed Nortan aka (The Hulk/Bruce Banner) has signed on for the avengers movie and Robert Downey Jr. aka (Iron Man/Tony Stark) has signed on also. Plus he said 2 A-List Actors will be cast for Thor and Captain America.

But watch out he has ALSO said in the past said about you will see Cap. America in The Incredible Hulk movie then said you would see the scene on the internet in a few weeks, which we all know was a lie.

Possible Avengers Advisory

Today i was searching around the internet and I found an interesting article stating that The Hulk himself might be The Avengers Enemy. Which when you think about it would be a good thing. He is super strong and fast. So it would need Cap. America, Thor, Iron Man, and even Ant-man to bring him to his knees. Also in Ultimate Avengers The Movie, Who was the bad guy? yeah that's right THE HULK. So do you think it would be a good this or not?

Plus with Bruce Banner aka (Ed Norton) with his evil Grin how could he not be a great villain turned hero.

Ant Man news :: UPDATE ::

Edger Wright director of (Hot Fuzz, Shawn of the Dead) and now on a working title called Scout's Pilgrim. He and Screenwriter Joe Cornish ("The Adam and Joe Show") have started work on the second draft of the new Ant-Man movie. They said that its a new look on the Origin of a Superhero. We all know his comedic background but he has stated he will have a serious yet humorous storyline for this movie. He also needs to add that three different man have played the Ant-Man they're names are Dr. Hank Pym, Scott Lang, and Eric O'Grady.

Wonder how this will turn out?

Jon Favreau Talks about the characters in the New Avengers Movie

Iron Man director Jon Favreau, who is developing a sequel to be released in April 2010, says Marvel's plan is "to team up the heroes for The Avengers, which is made up of all of the Marvel heroes they have the rights to."

Favreau says the team's lineup has changed throughout the years, "but the ones Marvel is talking about now are Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Ant-Man and Iron Man. I would love to see that."
