/Film reader Alex Litel just sent me a link to a password protected page from the official Legendary Pictures website that lists “Superman Unleashed” as one of their upcoming films in development. The temporary plot synopsis included follows:
“Ramping up the action of its esteemed predecessor, the sequel to ‘Superman Returns’ promises to raise the stakes and take the audience to heights of action that no other superhero movie can achieve.”
The Legion of Superhero's come to Clark Kent and Smallville.
Superstar writer Geoff Johns has officially introduced the Legion of Super-Heroes into the re-imagined Superman universe of The CW's hit TV show Smallville, according to an announcement at Comic-Con International on Sunday, July 27th.
Johns said he had been friends with the show's producers for years, and when he presented them with the story idea, "it all came together fairly easily."
The writing was especially easy because Johns' mind has been so entrenched in the LSH mythos of late. "I have been working on the Legion so much this year, between Action Comics and [the Final Crisis tie-in] 'Legion of Three Worlds', and with it being their 50th anniversary, it was just kind of serendipitous that this is happening this year."
Johns couldn't say what members of the team would be featured but teased, "If you are familiar with the origin story, it's not that hard to figure out."
In April 1958's Adventure Comics #247, Superboy was visited by three teenagers from the 30th century--Lightning Boy, Saturn Girl and Cosmic Boy--who have traveled back in time to recruit Superboy as a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, for which he served (or will serve) as the inspiration.
"I think we're going to be able to stay pretty close to the origin of these characters," said Johns. "They are from 1,000 years in the future and they'll have flight rings and code names and everything else."
The air date for the Legion episode of Smallville has yet to be announced.
It has been confirmed that Bryan Singer (X-Men) will return to direct Superman: The Man of Steel, the sequel to Superman Returns.Warner Brothers confirmed Singer's involvement.
The story also provides insight as to who may be writing the script. Writers Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris, who wrote Superman Returns, are out. So who is in? Well, the strong possibility is that the film will be written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. The duo previously gained notice for their script writing on Transformers.
The pair of writers have apparently had "several meetings" with Warner Brothers regarding the film.
Brandon Routh, who played Superman in Superman Returns, has already confirmed that he will be returning for Superman: The Man of Steel as well.
As we all know Mr.Lair I mean Mr.Leterrier has fold us on Captain America in "The Incredible Hulk" movie, but at a french press conference he was asked if he would make the Man of Steel movie starring Brandon Routh. He said that Warner Brothers has come up and ask him but maybe its a "promotional" thing. I Don't Know, but Warner has said they would love if Bryan Singer would do it. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Mark Millar witer of the hit Rated R movie Wanted has realed to the press that he is going to make another superman movie. Its like Incredible Hulk's vs. Ang Lee's Hulk, it's going to be a reboot of the franchise new cast, new director, new producer, and he is the new writer. He has also stated that its been his life dream ever since a boy to make a Superman movie. Will this "Man of Steel" film be good or great?
If you all have seen. In I Am Legend staring Will Smith. There is a certian scene with a "Movie Poster" of it. here is the Photot still.
Does This mean a Superman vs. Batman movie nah, it's just director Francis Lawrence and the 'Legend' crew having some fun: “That was Akiva’s department (referring to writer/producer Akiva Goldsman). Akiva became the cheerleader for every movie poster and thing you’ll see in this movie,” commented Lawrence with a grin when asked about the poster.
Here would be the "official" Movie Poster. I also found a FAN-MADE video of Batman and Superman movie.
