After the fall of Carmine Falcone, the remaining crime bosses try to pick up the pieces. However, someone is killing them off one by one.
Here’s some movie buzz we weren’t expecting! Rumor has it Miley Cyrus is being courted to play a role in the upcoming sequel to The Dark Knight.
Apparently Miley is being considered for the role of Batgirl, starring opposite Christian Bale! Talk about a step up from Hannah Montana! The Globe’s Loosch Lips column broke the news, saying Miley recently “stunned” producers at Warner Brothers in a full batsuit trying to pitch herself.
The insider says, “She was sort of hopping around the room and had even written some dialogue for herself. The problem is, some people aren’t really convinced Miley has the acting chops to pull it of.”
We smell bulls**t on this one. We think Miley is definitely ready to move on from her tween projects, but The Dark Knight franchise seems a little grown up for her. Plus, we highly doubt Miley’s mom, who is her manager, would allow her to show up to Warner Brothers in a batsuit!
Another thing Chris Nolan hasn't even signed up for the third Batman, and they are already casting !!! DOUBT IT
For us Batman fans this is not The Best of Both World's !!!!
Marvel and Family Guy make "Christan Bale OutBurst" Spoofs. Very Funny !!!

Steve from Collidar.com and Peter from FlashFilm.com sit down to discuss the future of Batman.
Throughout the week I have super-geeky conversations with Steve from Collider, and we’ve decided to bring the conversations onto the site. In today’s video blog, we talk about Sunday night’s Academy Awards (for about four minutes) and then we have an in depth discussion about the future of the Batman franchise.
We talk about what is actually going on behind the scenes right now with the development with a third film. We talk about where The Dark Knight leaves off, and what the next film might bring us. What are some of the possible villains? Could Joker of Two-Face return? Could their be more than two big villains? What will Warner Bros do after Nolan leaves? Justice League? Could Zack Snyder direct Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns? How about a Batman Beyond film? What directors could carry on the Batman franchise after Nolan. And much more.
Heath Ledger won an Oscar at The 81st Academy Awards for "Best Supporting Actor" in The Dark Knight. He will be for-ever know as "The Clown Prince of Crime", 'The Agent of Chaos", "The Joker".
It seems that Christian Bale has decided to break his silence on the now world famous (or infamous) tirade he had on the set of Terminator: Salvation.
Bale went on the Kevin and Bean Show on KROQ radio to offer a mea culpa for his profanity laced tirade. "It's been a miserable week for me," Bale said on the air. He went on to admit what millions of people found out this week, "Listen, I know I have a potty mouth, everybody knows this now."
Bale continued to apologize for the incident, relating his regret over the incident:
"The thing that I really want to stress is I have no confusion whatsoever. I was out of order beyond belief. I was way out of order. I acted like a punk. I regret that. There is nobody that has heard that tape that's been hit harder by it than me. I make no excuses for it. It is unexcusable . I hope that that is absolutely clear."

NSFW on this one people! And if you've got kids, earmuffs! Batman/Terminator star Christian

The incident was reported about a couple of months ago, but now audio of the argument has been revealed on TMZ.
The incident that occured last July 2008 was described as,
Christian Bale was one giant raw nerve days before he allegedly pushed his mother.
TMZ spies tell us Bale was on the set last Friday shooting "Terminator 4" at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico.
During a scene, Shane Hurlbut (seriously), director of cinematography, screwed up a shot -- at least in Christian's mind. We're told Bale went wild, screaming "I will kick your ass" along with some other choice remarks. Several hundred people -- including Military Police -- heard the outburst, which was described as "intense."
We're told Bale was "extremely tired and having a bad day."
Seriously, headphones for this one if you're at work because Holy Inferno Batman your dropping the F-Bomb like it is a nuclear holocaust!
Guess he doesn't like to be interrupted.

n a recent interview, producer Michael Uslan said that we will indeed see a sequel to "The Dark Knight". Uslan, who is onboard as executive producer, estimates that the movie will hit theaters in 2011.Nothing is SET IN Stone about the plot of charactors, BUT he did say that there will be a Dark Knight Sequel. "It's one of those deals where if I told you, I'd have to kill you,".
I think everybody felt a 3rd movie was a foregone conclusion, but its nice to see that the wheels are in motion.
Presumably the project will return Nolan, Goyer & Co. (who've indicated they're already shaping workable story ideas for a third Bale-BAT adventure), although nothing should be seen as set in stone until former announcements are made.
Aaron Eckhart at The Golden Globe Award Show. Was Grilled on possible Two-Face Return !!!!!!!!!!
As many of you may know by now, last night January 11 2009 Heath Ledger was won the Golden Globe for his supporting role as The Joker in 2008´s The Dark Knight.
TDK Director Chris Nolan received it for him, and said:
"All of us who worked with Heath on the Dark Knight accept this with an awful mix of sadness and incredible pride," Nolan said, after the star-studded audience rose to their feet as the award was announced. "After Heath passed on, you saw a hole ripped in the future of cinema."
RUMOR pictures of Philip Seymour Hoffman as Penguin and Johnny Depp as Riddler has hit the WEB!!!!

FUNNYMAN EDDIE MURPHY will play The Riddler in the next Batman movie, The Sun can reveal.
The Beverly Hills Cop star, 47, has been signed up by British director CHRISTOPHER NOLAN to reprise the role played by JIM CARREY in 1995’s Batman Forever.
The surprise move follows speculation linking Pirates of the Caribbean star JOHNNY DEPP to the part.
The film, set for a 2010 release, is being developed under the working title Gotham.
Execs have also signed up rising Transformers star SHIA LABEOUF, 22, to play Robin.
CHRISTIAN BALE will return as Bruce Wayne, while MICHAEL CAINE will again play Bruce’s assistant Alfred.
Meanwhile, Brit RACHEL WEISZ is said to be up for the Catwoman role.
Insiders also revealed to The Sun the flick will end on a cliffhanger over whether Batman survives a blast at Wayne Towers.
Nolan had been tight-lipped about the future of the Batman films after being rocked by the January death of HEATH LEDGER — tipped to receive a posthumous Oscar for his role as The Joker in Batman Returns.
A film insider said: “Chris wasn’t sure if he wanted to do another movie but as soon as he decided to, he got the wheels in motion.
“Eddie’s a fantastic addition. Everyone’s excited to see what he does as the Riddler.”
I Thought they didn't want a Robin PLUS make him the correct age 10.
The rumors came in quickly, right after the release of "The Dark Knight" in theaters.
Mob Boss Anthony Zucco strikes again! Or perhaps it's the work of jittery TV executives or the hand of corporate parents looking to protect their intellectual properties, but word in today's Variety is that plans for the Batman-spin-off TV series 'The Graysons' have been scrapped.
Although a pilot was just recently announced, Warner Bros. president Jeff Robinov has put the kibosh on the show, which would have followed
According to the report, Warner TV didn't secure proper clearance for the show, which could potentially impact the viability of the company's other bat-plans.
Studio insiders told Variety that Robinov has decreed that Warner Bros. "rethink its DC Comics strategy," which meant putting the brakes on the show.
"The studio has opted not to go forward with the development of 'The Graysons' at this time as the concept doesn't fit the current strategy for the Batman franchise," the studio said in a statement. "Warner Bros. Television is currently
As with the failed 'Justice League' project, whispers behind the scenes indicate director Christopher Nolan was uncomfortable with how the show might impact his big-
Warner TV is looking to offer another high-profile property to The CW to make up for the injury, but l ikely one based on past TV franchises and not DC Comics.
Director/Writer Christopher Nolan comments on the future of his Batman franchise.
Nolan, when doing an interview about the DVD release for the second of the Batman films, THE DARK KNIGHT, said he "is jotting notes and doing some rough outlines for a third story, but he hasn't yet found anything he's willing to commit to film."
He also said something very similiar as to what he said back in 2005 when asked about a Batman Begins sequel. This time it was regarding the difficulty when making a third film, "I don't know why they're hard to do," Nolan says. "Maybe there's so much expectation to them. But I wouldn't want to do one if it weren't going to be as good as the first or second. That's not respectful to the fans."
He added, "It was obvious when the box office was so big ($530 million domestically) that we had underestimated how ready fans were to reboot the franchise. The worst thing you could do now that you've gotten the plane back in the air is mess up the landing."Really a Vampire CatWoman sounds interesting but also very weird.
At a recent H&M fashion event, MTV News caught up with “Dark Knight” star Maggie Gyllenhaal and asked if she’d like to be onboard for “Batman 3” — despite the fact that her character, Rachel Dawes, met the business end of a warehouse full of explosives. Always a good sport, Gyllenhaal replied, “If they can work it out, I would be happy to be in another ‘Batman.’ If Chris Nolan is directing it, sure.”
Meanwhile, since it’s impossible to ask “Batman”-related questions without bringing up villains, Gyllenhaal was then asked, if she could play a villain in “Batman 3,” which would it be?
“I guess I would like to play Catwoman,” she replied. “But it seems unlikely at this point, right?”
So, there you have it! Now MTV is touting that Rachel Dawes will be coming back as the Zombie Catwoman. Of course, that is a stretch, but you know SOME people will believe it.
When asked what the possibility of him NOT making Batman 3, Nolan said...
So, er, I guess this means Johnny Depp won’t be playing The Riddler in “Batman Begins 3″, huh? Probably not, unless Johnny Depp doesn’t need to eat or sleep, because the man currently has his hands full with three major projects in the coming years. The biggest one of all, of course, is the fourth installment in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” films, where Depp has confirmed that he will return as Captain Jack Sparrow. Meanwhile, Depp will also be playing Tonto in Jerry Bruckheimer’s sure-to-be-massively budgeted “Lone Ranger” movie. But wait! If you thought two mega Disney movies was more than one man can bear, Depp will also be playing the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s version of “Alice in Wonderland”. Seriously, where does Johnny Depp find time for his family?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Reelz Channel The Dallies talks to Mr.Hoffman on The Penguin Rumor.
Here is the final scene!!! Try to spot her. She is at the bottom left. She is only 8 or so here.
I don't know if anyone of you noitced but towards the end of The Dark Knight there is a cameo of a little girl. It';s during the scene where Harvey Dent/Havery Two-Face tries to murder Gordon's family.
Here is MTV asking directly Chris Nolan if that is Barbra Gordon aka Batgirl.
Here is what Gary Oldman has to say about Robin or Batgirl. Doesn't seem he wants a side-kick.
Details are a little sketchy on what the DARK KNIGHT DVDs are going to include but seeing as how it's poised to become a) the second biggest movie of all-time and b) the biggest movie released in the DVD era, we knew you'd expect a lot of different versions to be available. While we still don't have a lot of the specs on what these DVDs will contain, we are starting to get some word on what kinds of versions will be available.

We now know who we won't be seeing in another Christopher Nolan Batman film. CHUD recently spoke to Aaron Eckhart, who played Harvey Dent/Two-Face in the blockbuster The Dark Knight and the actor said there are no plans for his character's return.
"He's dead," Eckhart said before the question was even finished. Eckhart also mentioned that he asked that very same question to director Christopher Nolan while filming The Dark Knight.
"I asked Chris if there was a chance of coming back. 'No way,' he said. 'He's toast.'"
Johnny Depp was on a Radio Program to promote his new movie Dr.Parnassus and His Band. he also talk about playing The Riddler in Batman 3. read the short interview below or LISTEN to the hole thing at the bottom.
Hey Johnny, a listener called in earlier said you have to ask about the rumors on the internet of you doing the Riddler.
Johnny Depp: Oh yeah, I heard about that. Not that I know of.
You'd be a good choice.
Johnny Depp: It seems like it'd be a fun gig for a while, yeah.
There has been tons of names thrown out there for the role of The Riddler. So now here is another Terminators:The Sarah Connor Chronicles Brain Austin Green has been rumored. Now we all heard the rumors as Angelina Jolie as Cat-Woman and Phillp Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin. So wonder who will play the Riddler Now?
here is Green's interview about the role...
"I would love to be the Riddler," Green said. He further explained "I hope to God that they don't try to replace Heath and have the Joker. And Two-Face is gone. So they need a new villain, and the Riddler makes sense," he said.

This from ComingSoon.net...
Despite two more wide releases having entered theaters on Wednesday, The Dark Knight topped the box office for a fourth straight weekend, adding an estimated $26 million for a massive domestic total of $441.5 million. If the estimate holds, then the Christopher Nolan-directed film has surpassed Shrek 2 ($441.226 million) to climb to the third spot on the all-time domestic blockbuster list, trailing just Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope ($460.998 million) and Titanic ($600.788 million). Warner Bros. Pictures said it expects "Dark Knight" to end up with about $520 million domestically. The movie cost $185 million to make.
"Unnamed sources" usually means that the following bit of news is just rumor mongering, but several insiders are saying that producers of the Bat-franchise have their sights set on Johnny Depp to take the role of Riddler in the next sequel. This from the UK's Telegraph...
Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker has set the bar high for Gotham City villains, but reports in the US say studio bosses have set their sights on Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.
"Producers are convinced that the role of The Riddler is perfect for Depp. Johnny's a pro. He'll be able to take direction and still make the character his own. And what better Penguin is there than Philip Seymour Hoffman?" a source said.
They could be joining Angelina Jolie - the actress is reported to be after the role of Catwoman.
The Riddler was played by Jim Carrey in 1995 film Batman Forever and Frank Gorshin in the Sixties television series. As for The Penguin, he was portrayed on the small screen by Burgess Meredith and in 1992 film Batman returns by Danny DeVito.
Plans for the sequel are yet to be announced but it is likely to star Christian Bale reprising his role as The Caped Crusader.
The Dark Knight has smashed box office records in the US, taking $314 million in just 10 days.
There is even talk of it challenging Titanic to become the biggest movie of all time. Titanic took $600 million in the US. The Dark Knight certainly looks set to reach second place in the all-time chart and beat Star Wars, which made $460 million.
Newmar, who made the role famous in the cornball Batman of the 1960s, told the New York Daily News: "Angelina would own the part. My industry friends tell me (she) has made inquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman's one true love. She's tremendously popular with women because she's both a heroine and a villainess."
As well as Newmar, Catwoman has been played by Eartha Kitt, Lee Meriwether, Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Well at least she will be hot in that leather suit.

The dark Knight in one week breaks Iron Man and Indiana Jones 4 $300 Million dolloar mark.
Bale supposedly "lashed out" at his family while staying at Park Lane's Dorchester Hotel. His Mother Jenny, and sister Sharon went to the police station in Hampshire to file the complaint.
UPDATE: LONDON, July 22 (Reuters) - Actor Christian Bale, star of Batman blockbuster "The Dark Knight", on Tuesday denied allegations of assault made by his mother and sister after he was questioned by London police.
The 34-year-old spent several hours at a London police station before being released without charge, his U.S.-based spokeswoman Jennifer Allen said.
"Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister," Allen said in a statement.
"Mr. Bale, who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police."
She confirmed separately that the allegation was of assault.
When asked if Bale had been arrested and released on bail, a police spokeswoman said: "A 34-year-old man has been bailed to return to a police station on a date in September."
The wording is the usual tangential way British police confirm news about well-known personalities.

No More "Boy Wonder" when you say Batman you usually think Robin its like Peanut Butter and Jelly, Summertime and baseball, Old Fat Guys and TV, well you get the idea. According to WENN Magazine Christan Bale has stated that "The Boy Wonder" will never show up in any of his or Nolan's Movies. Including Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and Batman 3. Bale says that he will quite doing Batman if Robin is included. Well, for me I love Robin, he is one of my favored Superhero's of all time. But I can see what he means from a storyline point of view in recent years past like in (1997) Batman & Robin flick EVERYONE yes EVERYONE hated it because of Robin. So what does this mean, this means no more Dynamic Duo. But don't get completely sad, you might just might see him in an upcoming film "The Teen Titans".
Oh, yeah he didn't say about BatGirl. Who is actually in "as a baby" Batman Begins. Also she does come before Robin.

So be sure to get and see the previews if your a Terminator fan. And no Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be in it. But Might just might have a Cameo.
If you all have seen. In I Am Legend staring Will Smith. There is a certian scene with a "Movie Poster" of it. here is the Photot still.
Does This mean a Superman vs. Batman movie nah, it's just director Francis Lawrence and the 'Legend' crew having some fun: “That was Akiva’s department (referring to writer/producer Akiva Goldsman). Akiva became the cheerleader for every movie poster and thing you’ll see in this movie,” commented Lawrence with a grin when asked about the poster.
Here would be the "official" Movie Poster. I also found a FAN-MADE video of Batman and Superman movie.
