Although our puppies are always given a health check by our veterinarian, we offer a "healthy puppy" guarantee which allows you 72 hours to have your puppy examined by your veterinarian. Should your vet find any congenital defect or life threatening condition, you may return the puppy within 48 hours for a full refund of the purchase price or select another puppy (if available). In addition, we offer a 24 month guarantee that your puppy will be free from genetic Hip Dysplasia and Progressive Retinal Disease. All examinations and testing will be the responsibility of the buyer and the diagnosis must be the result of an OFA evaluation or a CERF test perfomed on or before 24 months of age. In regards to Hip Dysplasia, the puppy must have received proper nutrition for a large breed puppy, appropriate excercise, and maintained age appropriate weight as these factors can contribute to hip and joint problems that are not genetic. Should the puppy be found to have an inherited genetic disease, Sunup Goldens will reimburse the buyer for medical treatment for these conditions up to 50% of the purchase price of the puppy, or will offer a puppy from another litter free of charge. We will never ask for the return of your puppy.
