History of the Brussels Griffon
|
 The Griffon Bruxellois (Brussels Griffon) from Belgium is one of the characters of the Toy Group. He is truly bright and cheerful. With a monkey-like expression and his usual harsh coat of red, he has the equivalent of canine cheek. There is a smooth-coated version, which is equally pert, and both can come in other colors such as: belge, red, black, black and tan.
He weighs approximately 5-11lbs, but the middle of that range is the most usual. He has a bit of a terrier about him, so he thoroughly enjoys his exercise with boisterous family, but also makes a cheerful and fearless companion for those who live on their own. He does not take much grooming, but professional stripping on occassion in the rough-coated form is not a bad idea. Shedding is minimal.

Sunset Kennel is located in Success, Missouri. We are a small kennel specializing in only Brussels Griffons.
Our Brussels are not just "kennel" dogs, they are our loved pets! They are very well socialized and taken care of. All puppies are vet checked with a Veterinarian Certificate, as well as, up-to-date on all shots and worming before arriving in their new homes. Most generally, we like to see the puppies leave the kennel at approximately 10 weeks of age. We do dock the tails, but ear-cropping is specified at the customer's request. |

| Our Brussels Griffon puppies range in price from 500-1000 dollars. All puppies come with registered puppy papers, up-to-date shots and worming, and a vet check. Puppies can be delivered via air for an additional fee. |
