   Steak and potatoes,

            Toast buttered rye,

            Counting the calories

            As they pass on by.

            Sensational gravy,

            Piece of apple pie,

A Veil of Ignorance is a collection of poems for all readers from all walks of life.  The book is a melting pot of poetry highlighting sections of the author’s life experiences, romances and international travels.  Certain poems mirror past events, while others answer serious questions about life, human nature, and the state of the world as a whole.  Others tend to be more conceptual in discussing devout and emotional matters of the soul.  The book is intended to be a sort of poetic time continuum, from times of trouble to times of peace, reflecting the author’s growth in maturity and emerging into her true self.  The author has written and shared these poems in hope that others can relate and enjoy them.
