Sunny Ridge Registered Nubian and Boer Goats
Our Nubians are bred for show quality as well as milk production. They make us very proud.
Our Boers are bred for good confirmation, heavy muscling, hardiness and fast growth rates.
We participate in Linear Appraisal and keep milk records on all our milkers. Our Nubian kids are taken at birth and raised on heat treated colostrum and pasturized milk. We do not test for CAE unless requested at time of sale but we do follow a strict CAE prevention program. We live in a state that is declared TB and Brucellosis free. Our Boers are kept as a seperate herd from our Nubians. They have seperate barns and pastures. The Boer dams raise their own kids and their ability to do so is important to us.
We feed a custom blended 16% protein grain and good grass hay. Goat minerals are available as well as sodium Bicarb. All are vacinated with CDT. Worming is done spring, fall and as needed (determined by fecal check).
