Sunny Reins Stables is located in beautiful Wilmington, NC. We are located off of Sidbury road, very close to I-40 and only minutes from downtown Wilmington, Mayfaire, and Wrightsville Beach. We are also very close to Ogden and Hampstead.
We are very new, and have just completed major construction. We now have a large 12 stall barn, all-weather riding arena, run-ins in every paddock, hay storage building, and offer many services to our boarders.
Our trainer has experience in eventing, as well as in hunter/jumper. She utilizes basic dressage concepts to strengthen the communication between horse and rider. A successful horse and rider depend on developing a team effort. We will help you to work with your horse, and with your horse to respect you and your aids, which will result in a much more enjoyable ride for any equestrian. Sunny Reins Stables, LLC is offering summer camps for the weeks of June 23-27, July 14-18, and August 11-15, 2008. Camp will be from 8:30am until 2pm Mon. thru Fri. and is $225 per week. There will be a 10% discount for payment by June 15, 2008, multiple weeks, or siblings. Payment is due at registration to reserve space. Horsemanship, riding lessons, crafts, swimming, and snacks provided with safety and supervision our primary focus. Long pants and sturdy shoes with a ½” heel are required for riding, may bring change of clothes for other activities, and bathing suit and towel for swimming. Please bring sunscreen and a bag lunch, and a water bottle to stay hydrated. Late pickup is also available for $7/hr. until 5:30pm after camp.
