Sticker Book: I like stickers. Stickers are cool. I really like the gothic style artwork for PotC. I might start scanning some of these pages in and upload them on here as colouring pages. Although, I'm not sure whether that is illegal or not =S
The Rundown: Help complete these fun puzzles and activities featuring Jack Sparrow and the rest of the crew from 'Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest'. When you have finished, decorate your bedroom or books with all the glow-in-the-dark stickers inside. Then it's just the case of waiting for nightfall, to see them glow! Age 7+

Tattoo Book: Found it in the Disney section whilst rampaging around in the Children's Play area in Borders. I wonder just how many promotional books Disney has released. I just want to say that I love the fact that the back covers states 'Age 3+'.

Colour in these great pictures of Captain Jack Sparrow and your favourite characters from 'Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest', then have fun with the fantastic tattoos inside! Magazine: The first issue of Disneys' Official Pirates of the Caribbean magazine. I was lucky to find the first issue in a different newsagents as the last one has closed down (Entry Sat 30 Dec 05:08:11 AM). I missed this first issue since I didn't know it existed and bought the second issue first. Pretty damn lucky to get this, yo.
The Rundown: The second issue I reviewed came out with an excellent rating of 5/5 and this first issue is another stunner. Printed on beautiful thin slighty glossy paper and in obviously high quality ink this magazine is yet another must have. Issue one came with a free movie comic. This series follows Captain Jack Sparrow and the crew in search of lost treasure. Sparrow must choose whether to save the life of his close friend Gibbs or have in his possession a magical stone that will give you the riches in the world or cure any illness. Jampacked with Piratical facts and fiction, including movie facts and trivia. Crosswords, wordsearches and anagrams to solve, this magazine would keep you entertained for at least an hour. Magazine includes 3 Dead Man's Chest posters an several rivilations about the characters such as Jack Sparrow hasn't always been a pirate. He was once a merchant marine. It was here he picked up his unique fighting skills..

Book: Recommended to me by the wonders of Amazon.com. I actually have a fair collection of newletters and emails from various shopping stores online attempting to recommend me a substantial array of Pirates-related merchandise. Much to my delight of course. I also appreciate some personal emails sent from friends suggesting products which I may not have seen/purchased/reviewed. This book was part of a rather large order I made on a Pirates. spree. The packaging left alot to be desired but was otherwise mostly undamaged, 7/10. No rips or pages missing so that is excellent news, a review of 5/5. I've used this book largely as reference for my fan art and manga lately (None of which has been published yet), trying to get details of costumes right and a larger storyline to play with. Originally purchased for $13.59 on Amazon.com.
The Rundown: The official visual guide to Pirates of the Caribbean including a foreword by Jerry Bruckheimer plus poster-sized illustration of The Black Pearl. With props and full colour stills from the movies and spectacular original Disney illustrations, this exciting guide will delight pirate fans of all ages. This guide is packed with amazing photographs and fascinating facts about the movies' characters, ships and locations. Providing a unique insight into the rambustious pirate world.

Recommended video:"Girls Lie Too" It's country music, but it has an awesome Sparrow impersonator. The best bit. Walking Swaggering on the table.
Recommended Pirate-related stuff:Veteran Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-Fat will star in the last installment of the Hollywood blockbuster trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

Book: I saw this and just had to have it. Why? Coz it has a groovy little spyglass with it! It's so cute. Yesh it is. I don't think it actually magnifies what you're looking at, but it is equipped with a slot point where you slot in mini reels that come with the book, so you can look at some scenes from Dead Man's Chest. It's one of those "read abit, and look at a scene" books. Obviously for children yet again. Perhaps this site is showing my mental age ^^;; I also happen to have an emotional span of a teaspoon.
The Rundown: Hard-back book with plastic toy telescope which extends. Yet another official movie storybook, however I suppose this version is much more expressive in comparison to the sofe-back novel shown in the previous post. There is an addition of interactivity with this storybook. Perhaps an adult could read aloud to a child and instruct them to use the telescope to visit scenes from the movie.

The Black Pearl is gone and unless you have a rudder and a lot of sails hidden in that bodice--unlikely--young Mr. Turner will be dead long before you can reach him.

Magazine: Found this in a local newsagents, which happened to be closing down due to bankrupcy. Fancy that! I didn't know until I returned a couple of weeks later to see it all boarded up. Anyway yes, this is the official movie magazine brought out by Disney.
The Rundown: This second issue is a must have, for all Pirates. Fans out there. Obviously, Jack Sparrow is plastered on the front cover, along with fetching pictures of Elizabeth Turner and comic versions of Davy Jones and Pintel. 2 free gifts include a small pocket-sized version of the Official Dead Man's Chest Movie Novel Adaptation and a "Build your own Black Pearl". Which I didn't do because, I wanted to keep this magazine in mint condition and of course a collectable. There are plenty of extra movie facts and pirateology included in this magazine as well as the usual content such as games, competition to win prizes. Activies aimed at children include: Make your own compass using a needle, cup of water and a magnet. 4 full page posters for you to rip out and put on your wall (Which I must say, I haven't any space left. I've even moved onto ceiling space. Much to my Father's dismay. Posters are highly flammable kiddies! Keep away from naked light-bulbs!). As I said, this magazine is highly recommended; mostly because of the 16 pages of Jack Sparrow's comic Adventures. I'll be adding some scans in the future.
