 National Society Daughters of the American Revolution

The Sumter's Home Chapter is located in Sumter, South Carolina.  We are a very active and welcoming chapter.  We were chartered 17 April 1900.  We have grown from a mere 12 members to over 100 strong!

NSDAR Objectives:

Historic: "To perpetuate the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American Independence."


Educational: "To promote, as an object of primary importance, institutions for the general diffusion of knowledge."


Patriotic: "To cherish, maintain, and extend the institutions of American freedom: to foster true patriotism and love of country."

2007-2010 NSDAR Theme:

Shine for DAR.
